We are excited to share our latest publication. Our CTO Andrew Králíček and CSO Colm Carraher have authored a chapter in the latest edition of #ComprehensiveAnalyticalChemistry alongside Roshan Khadka from The New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research Limited. Their chapter on “Advances in artificial olfaction using insect odorant receptors” provides an in-depth look at analytical chemistry and the potential of artificial olfactory systems. https://lnkd.in/g7nMeZ4X ! Huge thanks to Elsevier ! Andrew Králíček and Colm Carraher
About us
Started in New Zealand, Scentian Bio develops biosensors that mimic the incredible smell receptors from insects to deliver a super-sensitive, real-time measurement of smell and taste. We are developing solutions for key use cases detecting and quantifying volatile organic compounds, e.g. food and flavors, logistics, pest control and human health. Our food and flavor solution is designed to provide assurance of what is in a product (and what’s not). We can check quality control, quality assurance and quickly check for taints, mal-odours or residues.
