We are carrying out research, "Cognition Matters in Mental Health", with the University of Southern Queensland, to explore cognitive vulnerabilities that may contribute to risk behaviours within the construction environment.
To participate, please use the link: https://lnkd.in/gxJA_6E9; or scan the QR code in the post.
Your participation will involve the completion of an online questionnaire and several cognitive tests that will take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time.
Questions will include history of employment, Suicidal ideation attributes, history of suicide attempts, habitual problem solving, substance use, cognition and mood. E.g., “Have you ever considered suicide?”, “Did these thoughts include a fairly detailed plan?”, and “Have you ever attempted suicide?” using a yes/no response format.
Your participation in this project is entirely voluntary. If you do not wish to take part, you are not obliged to. If you decide to take part and later change your mind, you are free to withdraw from the project at any stage. However, because your responses are anonymous, you will be unable to withdraw data collected about yourself after you have participated in the questionnaire.
Many thanks for your time for taking the survey. We trust your contribution will help our industry to tackle mental health issues in the construction industry.
