Despite a few weather-related delays, we've achieved some incredible milestones: ✅ Expanded Storeroom and Online Delivery Area for better storage and more efficient online order fulfillment. ✅ Streamlined Online Pickup with a new dedicated area and extra fridges. ✅ Introduction of Direct to Boot and Self-Checkout services for added convenience. The transformation has been met with enthusiasm from both our team and the local community. This store holds a special place in the hearts of many, with some of our team members having worked in the same building since its days as a FreshChoice and later a Countdown. New Summerfruit NZ Chief Executive Dean Smith said that the season for delicious locally grown cherries, nectarines, peaches, apricots and plums was underway, with early fruit being harvested in the Hawke’s Bay and Marlborough and with fruit to come from Central Otago soon.
