🎓 Huge congratulations to our He Puāwai Manukura ki Virtual, November / December rōpū who graduated and rounded off the final wānanga for the year, this morning! We have thoroughly enjoyed all of the insightful & inspiring kōrero, gems, and laughter that has been shared across the last four weeks together. It has been a joy to share space with this great group and welcome Richard (October virtual rōpū) back, along with facilitators, Debra, Tui, and Lisa 🌞 Sadly missing Scarlett, Aaron, and Pamela, from our final pic but we look forward to connecting with them and others in future catch-up wānanga. Congratulations again, whānau - and thanks to everyone for an awesome year of He Puāwai Manukura. We’re looking forward to heading into a relaxing festive season & keeping you all in the loop regarding 2025 ⭐️ ‘Ko ngā pae tawhiti whaia kia tata, ko ngā pae tata, whakamaua kia tina’ ‘The potential of tomorrow depends on what we do today’ #hepuawaimanukura #takenotice #livedexperience #peersupport #traininganddevelopment

Big congratulations to our graduates for He Puāwai Manukura ki Virtual, September rōpū! Hard to believe how quickly the time has flown by - but also how full our cups are, after the last four weeks together 🌻 We thoroughly enjoyed all of the opportunities to dive deeper on topics, to laugh, learn and connect with one another. We also had the added bonus of Jayden (August virtual rōpū) joining us, as well as Paamu (August virtual rōpū) and Meg (July virtual rōpū) graduating in this space too! Stopping to pause before we head into Mental Health Awareness Week, this week, to reflect on the blessings of the last week celebrating Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori across our mahi: ⭐️ Exploring Te Tiriti with our He Puāwai Manukura whānau in rua wiki of the programme. ⭐️ Delivering a Mental Health First Aid Aotearoa refresher to the kaimahi at Downer, where we emphasise self care and holistic wellbeing with Te Whare Tapa Whā. Our director, Kerri Butler, was also warmly welcomed to Temuka with sunshine and the ataahua manaaki of Arowhenua Whānau Services where she met with whānau whaiora and kaimahi. She summed the visit up with this comment: “Mihi kia koutou!! Shout out to Elly, Jo, Korianna, Juanita, for the aroha me manaaki and the pukapuka that I will treasure. Such a beautiful service and I felt the aroha the minute I walked through the door. Such an honour to share in karakia with the whānau and to be uplifted by the ihi and aroha of the waiata”
