  • Last week, Movember 2024 wrapped up! The team here at Tuatara Structures has been very active raising awareness for the Movember Foundation throughout November. Over the course of the month, our team has walked over 700km, and to support our movers, some of our team grew some good looking Mo’s!   To support the Movember Foundation, and to reward our movers and mowers for their efforts this month, Tuatara Structures is donating $700 which will go towards medical research, men’s health programmes, and innovative treatments that support men’s mental health, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Here at Tuatara Structures, we take our social responsibility seriously, and we like to go above and beyond to support charities that positively impact our community. A big shout-out to all those who got involved this year to support a vital cause. Well done to our Mo-growers - Reed Smith and Jordan Frizzell! Are you looking to donate? • Last week as part of National Volunteer Day 2024, our team hosted a celebration barbeque for all the volunteers who manage and run the South Island Wildlife Hospital (SIWH) here in Christchurch. It was a great opportunity to bring all of the volunteers together to share a token of our appreciation for the time and work they put in to protecting Aotearoa’s native wildlife.   The SIWH is a Charitable Trust founded in 2007 which is made up of a team of volunteers who undertake significant work to save and protect our native birds in the South Island. Prior to the Charitable Trust, there was no facility specially focused on helping sick and injured native birds in the South Island. Since the Chairty was founded, it has successfully treated, rehabilitated and released many wild and native birds.   Thank you to everyone who came along. We look forward to catching up again next year!   Find out more here:   https://lnkd.in/g5YRQ4wj   #tuatarastructures #outlast #outperform
