Right before the Christmas break we had the great pleasure of working with the Southern Seabirds Trust to implement a new online shop for selling their really cool merchandise. Incredible knowledge was gained at the Generative AI and Creative Economies in Movie Production conference yesterday. It was a real joy to be a part of, the speakers were just outstanding. The insights into AI and how it will affect industry went well beyond the screen sector. They have huge implications for what we do in web production as well. Xequals, like all digital production companies, will either learn to work with AI in ever-productive ways, or face becoming irrelevant one day. Naturally, we're committed to the former! Huge thanks to DCN Global and U.S. Embassy for putting on this amazing event! We are here in Canberra for the #GovCMSMegaMeetup as freshly appointed members to the Drupal Services Panel for the Australian Government. It's been a long and gratifying journey to get here. If any of you fellow #drupal lovers happen to be here as well, come say hi! We have some super swell Drupal-inspired Lego, and limited edition, made-for-this-conference range of creative stickers!

Hoorah we did it! Xequals joins an illustrious list of companies on the Drupal Services Panel that support the Australian Government's digital / web strategy with Drupal developer expertise. To celebrate, we are flying to Canberra for the GovCMS Mega Meetup to meet the rest of the GovCMS community who support and work with this incredible GovTech platform. We are thrilled to be giving another talk next week to one of Wellington's big student communities. Whereas earlier this year, Alex Matthews delivered the Graduation Ceremony speech to the graduating year of design students from Yoobee College of Creative Innovation, next week there will be another talk to Victoria University of Wellington's Software Development undergraduates, talking about trends in the industry, the future of technology and how we can position ourselves to make the most of it.
