1.5 Days in Da Lat: Itinerary and Route Map

Da Lat is a summer resort for Vietnamese people. It is a "mountain city" with an altitude of over 1,000 meters. So even in the hot summer, it doesn't feel stuffy. Many people come to Da Lat to stay in a hotel and do nothing. They don't have any itinerary. But if you want to see the city like me, you can follow my route to experience everything: 🚗 The most convenient way to get around Da Lat is to rent a motorcycle. But there are no electric motorcycles here. There are many slopes. I don't have an international driver's license and I'm afraid of being checked, so I took Grab all the way. It's very convenient to call a car to the attractions. So it's up to you how to get around. The route map is in the second picture: Day 1 1⃣️ Domaine de Marie Church: A pink church, very beautiful and photogenic 2⃣️ Crazy House: Some people say it's average, but we think it's okay. The complex staircases are fun. 🎫 80k VND 3⃣️ Da Lat Cathedral: A yellow church. It is said that you can take pictures of the mountain city from the back. To be honest, you can take pictures at the first three places, but I don't think they look good without a telephoto lens. 4⃣️ Xuan Huong Lake: We didn't go there on purpose. We just passed by it on the way to other attractions. 5⃣️ Da Lat Railway Station: An old railway station. 🎫 5k VND. There is an old retro train. You can take the train to Linh Phuoc Pagoda. 6⃣️ Linh Phuoc Pagoda: A temple with glazed architecture. I think it's very beautiful. Unfortunately, it was raining when we went there, so the photos didn't look good. 7⃣️ Da Lat Night Market: After taking the train back from Linh Phuoc Pagoda, we went to the night market and had Vietnamese pizza. The grilled rice paper was really good. Day 2 We only had half a day today. After reading many guides, I found that the hydrangea park and sculpture park are not cost-effective. Finally, we chose Datanla Waterfall, which is close to the city center. I think it's okay. The waterfall is below. I recommend walking down and up, or walking down and taking the slide up. The ticket for the waterfall is 🎫 50k VND. The one-way slide is 110k VND. If you take the slide both ways, you can buy a 250k VND ticket (including the entrance ticket).
