Shunde | Jinyan Park|||Jinyan Park is located in the Beiqu Community of Daliang Subdistrict, Shunde District. It is built around Jinyan Mountain, which is only 27 meters high. The park combines natural beauty and historical culture. The main attractions in the park include Jinyan Temple, Banshan Pavilion, Wangyue Pavilion, ancient trees, and the Ancestral Hall of Mr. Chen Yanye. Jinyan Temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt many times during the reigns of Kangxi, Yongzheng, Qianlong, and Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty. The existing architectural style is that of the late Qing Dynasty. The temple has five stone tablets from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including the Jinyan Stele. Wangyue Pavilion on the top of the mountain is one of the eight scenic spots in Fengcheng, known as "Jinyan Night Moon." The flat rocks here are perfect for visitors to wander and sit. There are many ancient trees in the park, such as a 305-year-old banyan tree and two 165-year-old hackberry trees. These ancient trees have witnessed the historical changes of the park. Mr. Chen Yanye was a hero who resisted the Qing Dynasty at the end of the Ming Dynasty. He was known as one of the "Three Loyalists of Lingnan."
