I also enjoyed browsing the nearby shops, which offer local sweets and souvenirs that give a true sense of the region’s heritage. Fukuoka Castle Ruins and Maizuru Park Next, I explored the Fukuoka Castle Ruins within Maizuru Park. While much of the original structure is gone, the ruins are a fascinating glimpse into Fukuoka’s feudal past. Walking along the ancient stone walls, I could imagine the castle's former grandeur.
