I planned a one-day self-driving tour with a group of friends to the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne, Australia. This was an unforgettable journey. The Great Ocean Road is famous for its magnificent coastline and natural scenery, and I was eager to explore this beautiful land even before we set off. Located on the southeastern coast of Victoria, Australia, the Great Ocean Road stretches about 243 kilometers. Through the car window, you can see long stretches of beach, with the blue sea contrasting sharply with the golden sand. The waves crash against the shore, creating a pleasant sound. Next, we arrived at the famous Twelve Apostles. These towering rock formations stand in the sea like natural sculptures, showcasing the grandeur and power of nature. Later, we reached Apollo Bay, a charming small town with beautiful beaches and a relaxed atmosphere. I had lunch at a local Chinese restaurant, the only one open because we arrived late for lunch. 🍚 After lunch, we headed to the coast of Apollo Bay! Walking along the coast, our steps were accompanied by the sound of the waves, feeling the gentle touch of the sea on the sand. Next, we visited the Great Ocean Road Memorial Arch, a landmark that attracts countless tourists. Finally, we arrived at the Cape Otway Lightstation, a cute lighthouse perched on a spectacular coastline, making it a highlight of the Great Ocean Road and a great spot for photos.
