Eternal Blessings in Hangzhou

#holidayseason Yongfu Temple, or the Temple of Eternal Blessings, is a gem nestled in the hillside near Lingyin Temple. It’s easily my favorite spot in the area. The temple features a sprawling layout with five main courtyards: Puyuan Jingyuan, Jialing Lecture Yard, Ziyan Huiyuan, Guxiang Zen Yard, and Fuquan Tea Yard. Each harmoniously blends traditional architecture with the surrounding nature. As you explore, the multi-tiered design creates a sense of discovery, with each level offering something new to admire. The atmosphere here is incredibly peaceful. Unlike other bustling tourist spots, Yongfu Temple feels calm and unhurried, making it a perfect place for quiet reflection or simply soaking in the serene environment. The courtyards are beautifully designed, with intricate details in the halls and structures that showcase the artistry of the past. I spent 2–3 hours here, wandering through the courtyards, climbing the steps, and taking in the views of the hillside.
