The Basket Boat, also known as the Thung Chai, is a unique feature of Hoi An, Vietnam. It's truly an unseen attraction that you won't find anywhere else. This place is always bustling with tourists. The weather is mostly hot, but there's a cool breeze. There are fun activities for tourists to participate in, including dancing. And of course, there's always music playing both on the water and on land. Each boat ride lasts about 40 minutes and costs 250,000 VND per person, which is about 300 THB. Each boat can accommodate 2-3 people, not including the staff. Life jackets are provided. Each boat has a staff member who rows the boat, and these staff members are locals living along the river. You don't need to row the boat yourself, as the boat's design makes it difficult to row without going in circles. Once you pass the palm trees and reach the middle, there's a solo paddle performance for you to watch, with dance music playing and boat bumping. The atmosphere is fun and feels like a fair, offering a new experience.
