Contemporary Cantonese Cuisine at Harmony Pavilion.

Celebrate the festive season in December with a new hotel! Join us for a new culinary experience this Winter Solstice. The Harmony Hotel in Wan Chai had its grand opening in December, and we were among the first to visit! We started with a rich Chinese meal and then moved to the hotel's Western restaurant to enjoy a variety of international dishes, desserts, and cocktails. First, we stepped into the Chinese restaurant Harmony Pavilion on the 20th floor! The environment is very elegant, and the restaurant has up to 16 private rooms. Harmony Pavilion offers stylish contemporary Cantonese cuisine, with a series of meticulously crafted dishes designed around the 24 solar terms. We were fortunate to witness the chef team's carefully designed dishes! These included Salmon Roe and Green Lobster Dumplings, Swan-shaped Radish Puffs, Crab Meat and Avocado Baked Stuffed Crab Shells, Duckweed and Chrysanthemum Tofu Soup with Lily and Chinese Yam, Honey-glazed Barbecued Pork, Steamed Grouper Fillet with Bean Curd and Lotus Leaf, Pan-fried Golden Oysters with Lettuce Cups, and Lobster Soup with Shrimp Balls and Wild Mushrooms Braised Pearl Rice. All the dishes were very attractive and reasonably priced, making it a great choice for those who love Chinese cuisine. Duck lovers should not miss the Harmony Pavilion's Peking Duck! The roasted meat section of the Chinese restaurant is very sincere, and watching the chef slice the fragrant duck skin piece by piece made our mouths water uncontrollably. The Peking Duck comes with a variety of rich accompaniments, each offering a different taste experience! The duck skin is kept warm and soft in a heated container, ensuring it remains delicious. The desserts are also very exquisite! There are Japanese-style Matcha Mochi and nourishing Snow Lotus Seed, Silver Ear, and Bird's Nest Stewed Papaya. After seeing so many wonderful dishes, it's time for me to enjoy them! Today, I tried the Harmony Pavilion lunch set for $428 per person! The first course was the Harmony Assortment, which included Rainbow Shrimp Dumplings, Crab Roe Siu Mai, and Charcoal-grilled Pork Belly. The Charcoal-grilled Pork Belly had crispy skin and flavorful meat, with well-defined layers of fat and lean meat, and the seasoning was just right, making it very enticing. The Rainbow Shrimp Dumplings had smooth and non-sticky translucent skin, with sweet and crunchy shrimp inside, a classic delicious taste. The Crab Roe Siu Mai was very full and had a loose texture, making it very tasty. The Golden Crispy Rice with Grouper Fillet had tender and delicious fish, and the crispy rice, enhanced with salted egg yolk, added a salty and fragrant new taste that was very fresh. The Braised Goose Web with Shiitake Mushrooms in Abalone Sauce had a rich and enticing abalone sauce, the shiitake mushrooms were well-braised and tender, and the goose web was thick and absorbed the essence of the abalone sauce, making it rich and delicious. The Minced Tofu with Bamboo Fungus and Seafood Soup showcased excellent knife skills! The tofu strands were silky and melted in the mouth, with plenty of crunchy shrimp inside, making it very fresh and fragrant. The Stir-fried Rice Noodles with Crab Meat and Celery had plenty of white and sweet crab meat, the rice noodles were dry-fried and not greasy at all, and the addition of Jinhua Ham added a salty and fresh touch, making the taste even more fragrant. The nostalgic Sesame Roll had a smooth texture and was not sticky, with a rich sesame flavor, making it very delicious. The Almond Tea with Egg White was not to my taste, so I gave it to a friend who loves this dessert to enjoy. With so many festive days ahead, everyone has another great place to enjoy Chinese cuisine and gather for celebrations.
