Cijin Seaside Park

Cijin Seaside Park is a long stretch of beautiful coastal landscape along the western shore of Cijin Island. Take a leisurely stroll through interesting architectural designs while enjoying views of the Taiwan Strait. The park features long paths for walking and cycling, as well as ecological areas and Cijin Beach. Walk on the bridge that extends into the sea, take your children to the playground and other spacious play areas, soak in the relaxed atmosphere, and breathe in the salty sea air. Let the kids climb and play to their heart's content for hours. Stroll on the sands of Cijin Beach while enjoying the sea view. Look for surfers heading towards big waves to practice their skills. Have a picnic or enjoy fresh seafood from the beachfront restaurants. This area is renowned as a sunset photography spot, offering a romantic evening with your loved one as you watch the sun set into the golden horizon. Immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere, as the long stretch of beach is not crowded. The sand is soft and clean, and the water is comfortably warm throughout the year. You can buy sweet potatoes and various fresh produce from market stalls. Local products, including fresh food and crafts, are available at the street market just outside the seaside park. Continue to the northern part of the island to see the centuries-old Cihou Fort. The Cijin Lighthouse is also a prominent structure, located at the top of an outdoor staircase. Facilities such as restrooms and showers are plentiful along the coastline. Take the MRT to Sizihwan Station in the southwestern corner of Kaohsiung City, then take a short ferry ride to Cijin Island. Once there, walk or take a taxi to Cijin Seaside Park on the western shore of this small island.
