The temple breeds over 50,000 crickets, so you can hear the chirping of crickets all year round no matter what season it is. Kegonji Temple was founded in 1723. There is also a Jizo statue of happiness. The only Buddha statue in Japan is wearing straw sandals, which is believed to walk to your house and grant you blessings. It is also famous for its healing powers, finding one's purpose in life, and making dreams come true. The Kegonji Temple grounds are surrounded by a rich natural environment.
