Explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Cyprus

The Archaeological Park of Kato Pafos (Paphos) is one of the most important archaeological sites in Cyprus. Since 1980, it has been included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is important to note that Paphos was the capital city of Cyprus between 2nd Century BC and 4th Century AD. The park is extremely huge and the entrance fee (€4.50) is truly worth the money and time! My favourite site is the Villa House of Aion with its marvellous and most detailed mosaics on display, dating from 4th Century BC to the Middle Ages.
