Zen Garden and Rock Garden in World Floral Garden

As one of the three highlights of the southern section of the Shanghai Expo Cultural Park, the World Floral Garden is composed of themed gardens with distinctive floral features, such as Terrace Garden, New Garden, Zen Garden, Bamboo Garden, and Rock Garden. Last time, I only visited the Terrace Garden, New Garden, and Bamboo Garden. This time, I went there again to visit the Zen Garden and Rock Garden. The Zen Garden is an oriental Zen courtyard created in the form of a combination of a pond garden and a dry landscape garden with pine trees and rocks. The black mountain rocks in the garden create a pattern of three mountains and five peaks, and the white sand and rocks reproduce the characteristics of mountains and rivers. There is an island in the pond, and the tea pavilion on the shore is the center of the garden. The greenery is mainly composed of pine trees, cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, and azaleas, with distinct spatial levels, creating a quiet place for meditation. The overall style is elegant and the artistic conception is profound. The Rock Garden is a unique landscape formed by the combination of special rocks and flowers, with hard rocks and soft plants. Hundreds of flowers, plants, and trees from all over the world are arranged in the Stone Bay Exploration, Schist Stone Forest, and other scenic areas, forming a garden landscape with flowers and stones, flowers in all seasons, and changing scenery. It took me more than half an hour to visit the Zen Garden and Rock Garden in the World Floral Garden this time, so the Shanghai Expo Cultural Park is really big.
