The Tower of the Sun

The 70m-tall tower was created by Japanese artist Okamoto Tarō for Osaka's Expo '70. While the curious three-faced creature (there's one face in the back) has been open to interpretation (and critique) for decades, there's no doubt that it has become the symbol of the expo and of the energy and optimism that surrounded it. Take pictures with the tower as a background, and stroll around the park. A lot of people also do sports here. There are also fascinating places inside which are worth to see. You also have to enter the tower if you want to see the history behind the tower itself. I wish to be back in Osaka again in 2024. #2024wish
