🌿 Liyuan Garden, located in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, covers an area of 82,000 square meters and was built in 1927. This beautiful garden is located on the shore of Lihu Lake (Wuli Lake) and is named after Fan Li, a minister of the State of Yue during the Spring and Autumn Period. 📜 Fan Li, courtesy name Shaobo, was a politician, military strategist, and entrepreneur in the late Spring and Autumn Period. He came from a poor family but was well-educated. He met Wen Zhong, a minister of the State of Chu, and together they went to the State of Yue to assist King Goujian. Fan Li helped Goujian strengthen the State of Yue and defeat the State of Wu. After achieving success, he chose to retire and live a peaceful life, changing his name to Chi Yi Zi Pi. He traveled with Xi Shi, one of the Four Beauties of ancient China, on a boat across the five lakes and explored the seventy-two peaks. 🏞️ Liyuan Garden is one of the main attractions of the national key scenic area "Taihu Lake" and is known as the "Peach Blossom Land" of Wuxi. The garden features attractions such as Baihua Shanfang, Siji Pavilion, Nandi Chunxiao, Yuzhuang Brick Carving, Qianbu Corridor, Qinghong Yanlu Waterside Pavilion, Cengbo Dieying, Yunzi Rockery, and Xishi Zhuang. Covering an area of 123 acres, Liyuan Garden has a water area that accounts for about two-fifths of its total area, resembling a breathing ink painting.
