Zhangjiajie - A must-see destination in your lifetime

This is my second time in Zhangjiajie. I didn't get enough of it 17 years ago, so I drove here again. I went to Wulong Village last time, but I can't go there anymore. However, Golden Whip Stream, Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Huangshi Village, and Ten-mile Gallery are enough to keep you entertained for a few days. The mountain roads in Yangjiajie Scenic Area are too far, the roads are difficult to walk, and the attractions are scattered, so I don't recommend wasting too much time. The beauty of Zhangjiajie is beyond words. I just feel that my phone's battery is not enough, and the camera's performance is not good enough. The quartzite forest is so beautiful that it is hard to capture its beauty in photos. Because the scenic area is too large, if you are visiting for the first time, it is recommended to find a tour guide to make it more convenient. Of course, you can also explore on your own without a guide! This time I found that the infrastructure and services in the scenic area are more standardized and complete. The shuttle bus, cable car, and Bailong Elevator are very convenient. The roads in the scenic area are flat, and the viewing plank road is not very steep, which is friendly to most elderly tourists. There are many wild macaques in the scenic area, which add a lot of fun for tourists, but some monkeys will grab things. If you are afraid, it is necessary to have a stick in your hand. Hotels in the scenic area provide guide maps, and even those who have been here before may be confused when looking at the guide map. It is strongly recommended that you go to the Zhangjiajie Planet Metaverse Museum on the left side of the landmark gate (at the exit of the scenic area, free of charge). There is an intelligent display platform and a three-dimensional sand table inside. After seeing it, planning your travel route will save you a lot of trouble. At night, Wuling Avenue is brightly lit, and there are many specialty shops and restaurants, making it convenient for shopping and dining. I tried the most distinctive local dish, Sanxia Pot (Fuzhengyi Restaurant), which was spicy and delicious, and worth recommending. I saw the blood tofu that my Hunan classmates brought to school at the "Xiang Amei" specialty store. I bought it and fried it myself, and it tasted great! I didn't have time to go to Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area this time, which is a pity. I will definitely go next time!
