Mount Cook and the Golden Grasslands.
Hooker Valley Track - Mount Cook Hiking Route
Compared to the Tasman hiking route, this one takes about 4 hours round trip.
While Tasman has a beautiful endpoint, Hooker Valley offers more stunning scenery along the way!
From the entrance, you will pass three suspension bridges.
After crossing the second bridge, the view becomes more expansive.
Mount Cook seems to be right in front of you, paired with the golden grasslands bathed in sunlight—it's truly breathtaking.
I think the best spot for photos is between the second and third bridges.
Although the route is longer, with stops for photos, it feels like just over two hours.
Also, remember to use the restroom at the trail entrance!

God first created New Zealand, then created heaven in its image!
Mount Cook National Park, an hour's journey from Lake Tekapo, is surrounded by snow-capped mountains, which are super spectacular! After a 20-minute walk, I was shocked when I saw the glacier!
The god of nature in New Zealand must have used 90% of his miraculous work to carve Mount Cook National Park. The mountains are spectacular and towering into the clouds, the glaciers are blue and green, and I gaze at the waterfall where the snow melts in the distance. Really, other than wow, I can't think of any words to describe my mood at the time.
Blue penguins return to their nests, watch at close range, and there are small seals on the shore. Blue penguins are very small, they will return to their nests in groups in batches, very cute.
Guys, the scenery in New Zealand is absolutely beautiful, every shot is a blockbuster! Pure starry sky, blue glaciers, flowers all over the mountains, dreamy and magical firefly caves, various grand views of forests, wilderness, snow mountains and fjords... If you don't come once in your life, you will really regret it!

Mt Cook - The Tallest Mountain in NZ!
Mount Cook is the highest mountain in New Zealand and also one of the most scenic places to hike at.
There are 10 different short walks that you can take from Mount Cook Village, but the most popular one is the Hooker Valley Track. The walk begins at the visitor centre or the White Horse Hill campground/carpark. The track takes about 2-3 hours return and is an easy track with very rewarding views of the snow-capped mountains.
Along the way, you will have to walk across three swing bridges and goes along the Hooker River, ultimately leading you to a glacier lake. The glacier lake makes a really great photography spot with the snowy mountains as a backdrop!

Aoraki and the surround Mt Cook national park is a truly amazing place. With many walks and hikes available, the explorer in you goes crazy for all the wonderful sights you can take in along the way.
A simple and easy track to do is the Hooker track. A great walk for all fitness levels and takes a couple of hours round trip.
This is truly a magical place and you need to experience it. #wintergetaway

Taking a road trip through New Zealand was one of the best decisions I made last year. The neverending beauty of this country is so fascinating.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been in the whole world! Mount Cook on the South Island of New Zealand. So much beauty and mountains filled with great hikes!

Fly to Mount Cook on the plane ~ the right way to open New Zealand!
Mountain Mount Cook is 3,754 meters above sea level and is the first peak in the southern hemisphere. There are also 18 peaks with a height of more than 3,000 meters.
New Zealand is surrounded by the sea and has a humid climate. The snow line is much lower than the snow-capped mountains in western China. Here, we have the opportunity to look at the snow-capped mountains at a distance of 600 meters.
Mount Cook has several hiking trails, mainly in two valleys: the Hook Valley and the Tasman Valley. Looking up and down, a blue lake is really beautiful.
You can see the most romantic starry sky here at night, the Star River is hot, you are the ideal of the world.
[The most shocking way to open a snowy mountain]
When watching Mount Cook, its a more shocking way. Of course, take a scenic view of the mountain, and the plane will take you through the O.Ou Mountain Range to Mount Cook. In the heart of the national park, looking down from the plane, you will see magnificent glaciers and flowing ice water. On the return journey, the plane will land on the snow, in the package of the mountains, under the shadow of the white snow, everything around it is particularly beautiful, this is a good time to take pictures. After that, the plane will pass through the collection of glacier water, and the color is beautiful as the emerald Lake Pukaki, perfect!

MountCook National Park is a long and narrow park in the middle of the Southern Alps. The park is 64 kilometers long and has a narrowest area of only 20 kilometers and covers an area of 70,000 hectares. There are snow mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes, forests, and animals and plateau vegetation. The surprise here is unmatched by other places. The summit of Mount Cook, which stands on the top of the peaks, is covered with snow and ice all year round, while in the valleys of the mountains there are many glaciers hidden. On the west is the Hook Grand Glacier, and on the east is the Tasman Glacier. The Tasman Glacier is about 29 kilometers long, 2 kilometers wide and 600 meters deep. It is the longest glaciers in the world except the polar regions.
When the color of the red dragonfly is dyed on the white top of Cook's Peak, Rizhao Jinshan is like a date. I don't remember when I saw this scene last time. I only feel the long-lost feeling in my heart. The summit of Mount Cook, which stands on the top of the peaks, is covered with snow and ice all year round, while in the valleys of the mountains there are many glaciers hidden. There is a deep ochre-colored icy lake, a clear green lake, mountains and blue waves, and unlimited scenery. This is my longing for life.

New Zealand's winter is like a silent confession - its "no winter north", snow-capped mountains and colorful festivals... all invite you to New Zealand to create a "summer winter" exclusive memory.
We are three holiday families, most of them live in the holiday house. New Zealand's tourism industry is very developed, all accommodations are clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete.
The Mount Cook National Park is covered with thick snow in winter and is very beautiful under the blue sky and white clouds.
Dress up a fairytale dream with a pure white snow mountain and breathe the cool air of nature on the clear lake. As the sun's rays grow stronger, it always looks forward to the eternal cool and pure kingdom of "Frozen" in the heat, and New Zealand in winter is able to round you a "fairy dream."
There is not only a stretch of snow-capped mountains between the sky and the sea, but also the local residents who have been inhabited for a long time in this land. There are millions of mysterious land waving between their wings. A memory of winter.
Lewan_Diary.
Today, I traveled to Mount Cook National Park and drove from Tekapo for an hour or so. The time was just right. It will also pass through Lake Pukaki on the road and is one of the most beautiful lakes in New Zealand. Although the blue Tekapo made me marvel, the milk-colored Pukaki is equally shocking. The crystal clear milk blue, sparkling in the sunlight, the sky or dotted with a few clouds, makes people feel refreshed.
Mount Cook is part of the world's natural heritage, with the highest point, Mount Cook, at an altitude of 3,724 meters, not only the highest point in New Zealand, but also the highest point in Oceania. There are 23 high mountains in New Zealand with an altitude of over 3,000 meters, 19 of which are here. It is also the New Zealand Mountaineering Center. Taking into account the actual situation of several rookies, we are still clear-cutting a Hooker Valley Track, a classic and not too tired hiking trail. 4 hours of walking, in exchange for the beautiful scenery along the road. Opposite the glacier lake at the end of the road, Mount Cook is unobstructed in front of us.
