𝐃𝐚𝐲𝟏: Venice Water Town ➠ Donggang ➠ Zhenghuangqi Seafood BBQ (Harbor Branch) ➠ Haizhiyun Park
Day2: Magic Pot Coffee ➠ Lingjiaowan ➠ Silver Beach ➠ Cross-sea Bridge Viewing Platform ➠ Lianhuashan Viewing Platform
.
📸Check-in Points, Recommended for Collection
❶ Lingjiaowan: Go to the seaside to see colorful European-style castle buildings, it feels even better with the sunset.
❷ Silver Beach: The stone beach here is so beautiful~ The houses by the sea have a Korean style.
❸ Venice Water Town: Dalian never lacks romance, walking among the European-style buildings.
❹ Lianhuashan Viewing Platform: The road leading to the sea makes you feel like you are in a movie scene.
❺ Cross-sea Bridge: Walk to the right from the Cross-sea Bridge Viewing Platform, sit on the wooden walkway and look out at the sea bridge, it's really beautiful with the sunset.
.
🏝️Photo Time: In a city by the sea, always check the weather forecast before going out! Cloudy days have poor effects, getting up early can avoid the crowds.
🏚️Accommodation Recommendation: It is recommended to stay near Zhongshan Square, close to Dalian Station.
🍉Food: When you come to Dalian, you must try the seafood. This time I tried the highly recognized local "Zhenghuangqi Seafood BBQ", it was great. Dalian's seafood comes from the nearby Yellow Bohai Sea area.

Lost in a blue dream
-
As someone who grew up inland in the south, I've always been obsessed with the north and the sea. Dalian, located in the northeast and surrounded by the sea on three sides, has been a place I've longed for. Finally, on an ordinary sunny day, I arrived in this city.
Dalian is too romantic, with its wide streets, beautiful buildings, and the azure sea at the end of the road, not to mention the enthusiastic people of Dalian.
The sea in the south, with swaying coconut trees, is humid and vibrant, while the sea in the north has a sense of coldness and solitude, always murmuring deeply, silently accepting all who come to see it. I happen to be one of them.
I like to go to the seaside alone, avoiding the crowd, in the early morning or at dusk, when the profound blue seems to swallow all my emotions, giving myself some time to indulge in this blue dream, floating, falling.
Travel tips:
🏠: It is recommended to stay near Xinghai Square or Zhongshan Square. Xinghai Square has more updated homestays and hotels, offering more choices, and can meet the needs of those who want to stay in a sea view room. Zhongshan Square is more convenient for food, fun, and transportation, but the accommodation conditions are not as good in comparison.
🚗: Dalian's city area is not large, and the attractions are not too far apart. Public transportation and taxis are very convenient.
Sunset viewing spots: Recommended Fuzhuang and Silver Sand Beach

Dalian, a city you must not visit in winter, or you will be amazed by its beauty.
Dalian is a city that I have known since I was a child, but I didn't expect it to become more and more low-key in recent years. 🥹 It was only when I went there that I realized that Dalian should not be like this...
There are mountains, seas, and snow, as well as cultural and natural landscapes. European-style buildings are distributed along the coastline, and seagulls and deer are leisurely and free. The city square is not far from the sea, and the retro tram is like a beautiful picture.
🚶🏻 Dalian 3-day tour route
Day 1️⃣
Hangzhou - Dalian - (shooting Xinghai Bay Bridge) - Taiyuan Street (shooting European-style buildings opposite) - Tiaoyue Bridge - Silver Beach (with seaside deer, black reefs, and small islands in the sea) - Amber Bay
Day 2️⃣
Zhongshan Square - Minsheng Street - July 1st Street Morning Market (with frozen pears, seafood, etc.) - Check in 201 tram (Century Street, Chunhai Street, Huale Square, all classic shooting spots) - Check in Songshan Temple - Check in Lingjiao Bay - Fisherman's Wharf to watch the sunset
Day 3️⃣
Feed seagulls at Xinghai Square (really super photogenic) - Xinghai Bay Beach - Dalian Art Museum - Russian Style Street
✅ Must-visit attractions
▫️ Silver Beach: It is a deep blue sea, with several small islands and black reef beaches in the distance, and a group of deer resting on the hillside next to it. If it snows, it can be so beautiful that it makes people cry!
▫️ Xinghai Square: There are relatively few tourists here, and the beach and coastline are very long. You can feed seagulls at the "Centennial Memorial City Sculpture".
▫️ Lingjiao Bay, Fisherman's Wharf
Go to Lingjiao Bay in the afternoon to shoot the European-style buildings opposite Fisherman's Wharf. From time to time, fishing boats enter the port, and a group of seagulls fly after the fishing boats, which is very romantic.
Go to Fisherman's Wharf in the evening, wait for the sunset to dye the sky red, and wait for the lighthouse to light up, everything becomes extremely gentle.
▫️ Zhongshan Square
It is really very prosperous, with food and drink nearby, and European-style old buildings coexist with modern high-rise buildings. The black clock here is particularly photogenic, and it is even more dazzling at night.
▫️ 201 tram
Experience the tram with Dalian's history. The stops along the way are all prosperous areas, and you can also take it to the terminal to shoot vehicles, all of which are very photogenic!
🥟 About food:
Mackerel dumplings, sea urchin dumplings, and sea intestine rice are all must-try, and Dalian's Japanese food and sashimi are extremely delicious! ! As a lover of sashimi, I was so happy in Dalian that I was dizzy. It is much cheaper than in Hangzhou, and the quality is much better. 😭
Dalian's Orange Sea is worth crying over.
Dalian! Orange Sea! 230! 3 days in a row! Worth crying over
A must-see in Dalian! This ocean view room will take you back to Santorini √ Full ocean view √ Beach right outside the door √ Super cost-effective. If you're coming to Dalian, don't miss it! Close your eyes and go!

A city of snow and sea, with beautiful scenery.
A city of snow and sea, with beautiful scenery, is fascinating and makes people cry. In the past, in December, I once traveled to Dalian, just in time for the snow to fall, the sea and the sky were the same color, the snow scene and the sea rhyme complemented each other, it was a perfect match, and it was so beautiful that it was fascinating. 😍
There are many beautiful places to take photos on this trip, and I will briefly describe what I have seen for your appreciation:
✅ On the edge of Lingjiao Bay, the Fisherman's Wharf echoes each other, the buildings of the foreign town are staggered, and the morning light is first illuminated, and the scenery is like a painting, so be sure to get up early to shoot, so that you can enjoy its beauty.
✅ On the Silver Beach, the S Bay is winding, the beach is like silver, and after the heavy snow, it adds a little more tranquility and purity, and at sunset, the afterglow falls, which is beautiful.
✅ 201 tram, shuttling through the Century Street bus stop, waiting for the bus in the snow, although the cold wind is biting, but the half-hour wait is also an unforgettable memory.
✅ Tahewan subway station, looking at the vast sea, the moment the subway enters the station, the light and shadow are staggered, as if you are in a foreign country, the Japanese style is born.
✅ In Songshan Temple, the ancient charm is long, and outside the temple, you can also capture its unique charm, and under the lens, it shows vicissitudes and tranquility.
✅ Xinghai Bridge Observation Deck, the best place to watch the sunset in Dalian, the sea, Xinghai Bridge and the sunset afterglow are intertwined to form a moving picture.
This trip will be the most unforgettable experience of my life!

Last December, I went to Dalian with excitement, but I never expected
In Dalian, I witnessed the most magnificent miracle of nature - the perfect combination of snow and sea! The shock is simply beyond words! 😭
Below, I will share these beautiful photo spots without reservation, so you can feel the shock too! 🔥
✅ Lingjiao Bay: Standing on the opposite side of the Fisherman's Wharf, looking at the unique exotic town buildings, the morning light adds a touch of mystery and tranquility to this place. However, this is just the beginning! You have to experience the beauty for yourself!
✅ Silver Beach: When the snow covers the bay and the beach, the sunset is breathtaking. The tranquility and purity seem to intoxicate the whole world.
✅ 201 Tram: Waiting for the bus at Century Street Bus Station, despite the biting cold wind, when you see the tram slowly coming in the snow, the anticipation and excitement are instantly ignited!
✅ Tahewan Subway Station: The distant sea and the nearby subway station complement each other, like a scene from a Japanese movie. At that moment, I felt like I was in another world.
✅ Songshan Temple: This temple is full of historical and cultural charm. Even just standing on the street outside, you can feel the solemnity and tranquility.
✅ Xinghai Bridge Observation Deck: In my opinion, this is the best place to watch the sunset in Dalian. The sea and the Xinghai Bridge complement each other, and the beauty makes people cry.

You haven't been to Europe, haven't you been to Italy, haven't you been to Europe, haven't you been to Italy? You're wrong! This is Dalian, China. Dalian allows you to cross the country in seconds! My friends think I secretly went to Europe, but in fact, I just went to Dalian! Leaving behind, the time of watching the sea still lingers in my dreams. Especially the withered corner bay, it's like taking a photo of Dalian Lingjiao Bay, a European style town that makes you feel like you're at the seaside. The afternoon sun shone on the rows of European style buildings, making it difficult to distinguish whether it was a dream or a reality. Exit C of Laohutan Park on Metro Line 5 and walk for fifteen minutes to reach this very beautiful place. Search for "Lingjiao Bay" directly in the navigation, easily get V ". It may be a bit confusing when you first arrive in the garden, but don't worry, remember my introduction until you are not confused! After arriving at Lingjiao Bay Square, face the sea, enter the road on the right and turn right, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the seaside. The afternoon light is smooth, and the sea water is so blue that people are intoxicated. Be sure to seize this golden time! Any telephoto lens must be prepared, which can capture European style buildings and sea views further away, making your photos feel like you are wearing a long coat again. The fluttering coat and the sea view behind you are simply life advice: leave Lingjiao Bay again after going there. Dalian! I really love taking photos here! It's a holy land! Everyone is waiting for you! Here are some tips for taking photos to make it more layered! Remember!

Dalian Fisherman's Wharf Lingjiao Bay is a great place for photos! (With photo spots) || Dalian 4-day 3-night free tour.
I went to Xinghai Square, Xinghai Park, Fujiazhuang, Bangchui Island, and Heishijiao. They all felt very ordinary. I don't know if it's because the sky wasn't blue enough.
Today I went to Fisherman's Wharf and Lingjiao Bay. These two were my backup attractions. I wasn't planning to go because I thought internet-famous spots were boring, but who knew they were so beautiful! Oh my god.
I recommend starting at 5:00 and walking slowly until sunset... It's so beautiful. You don't have to take photos at the internet-famous spot in Lingjiao Bay. Keep walking inside and you'll keep finding beautiful spots.
P1 The spot outside Pinhailou Fisherman's Wharf. This place is really photogenic.
P2 Lingjiao Bay Parking Lot
P3 P5 Walk along the coastline from Lingjiao Bay Parking Lot. There's a camping base, and further ahead is

A romantic encounter between snow and sea in Dalian, a dreamy journey.
🎉Dear travelers, have you ever dreamed of a city with both snow and sea? Today, I will introduce you to such a place that is like a fairy tale world - Dalian! 😲
❄️In December last year, I set foot on the land of Dalian and was instantly shocked by the beauty of this city. The combination of snow and sea is simply a perfect match, and that kind of beauty is fascinating 😭.
📸Here are some of the most beautiful photo spots in Dalian for you to record the unique charm of this city.
🌟Lingjiao Bay: Here, you can see the distinctive exotic town buildings on the opposite side of the Fisherman's Wharf. Be sure to go in the morning, the morning light is soft, the photo effect is super good, as if you are in a European town 😜.
🌊Yinhai Beach: After the heavy snow, the bay and the beach are covered with white snow. At sunset, the golden sunlight is sprinkled on the snow and the sea, that scenery is breathtakingly beautiful 😍. Remember to check the weather forecast in advance and choose a sunny day to enjoy this beautiful scenery.
🚃Tram 201: Wait for the tram at the Century Street Bus Station. Although it is very cold when it snows, when the tram slowly comes, the retro feeling and the snow scene complement each other, it is very worth taking a photo. The tram is about half an hour away, everyone should arrange their time reasonably ⌛.
🚉Tahe Bay Subway Station: In the distance is the vast sea. When the subway enters the station, it is really Japanese style and very suitable for taking some artistic photos 📷.
🏯Songshan Temple: This is a very atmospheric temple. Taking photos on the street outside, you can feel a quiet and simple atmosphere, which makes people awe-inspiring 🙏.
🌉Star Sea Bridge Viewing Platform: This is the best place to watch the sunset in Dalian. The sea and the Star Sea Bridge form a beautiful picture under the sunset, which makes people can't help but sigh at the charm of the combination of the magic of nature and the greatness of human architecture ✨.
📌Schedule route planning notes:
• The temperature in Dalian in winter is relatively low, so be sure to keep warm, bring thick coats, scarves, gloves and other warm items 🧣.
• The distance between each photo spot may be relatively long, you can choose the appropriate transportation, such as buses, subways or taxis. If you have plenty of time, you can also experience Dalian's characteristic transportation, such as Tram 201 🚎.
• Check the opening hours and best visiting hours of each attraction in advance, arrange the itinerary reasonably, and ensure that you can fully appreciate the beauty of each attraction. For example, the sunset at Yinhai Beach is beautiful, so plan your time in advance to arrive.
• When taking pictures, pay attention to protect your equipment to avoid equipment failure due to cold weather. You can put warm baby and other warming measures on the camera or mobile phone 📱.

Departing from Beijing|Three days and two nights in Dalian
This year’s goal is to travel 12 times, the eighth stop: Dalian
DAY1 Wang Huijie’s open-mouthed shrimp-cross-sea bridge-silver beach-Fujiazhuang-Lingjiao Bay-Riyuesheng fisherman’s cuisine
We arrived at the hotel at about 11 o'clock and started packing up. Since the Xiding online reservations had been sold out, we went to Wang Huijie instead. The sea urchin dumplings were very fresh, the mackerel dumplings were also delicious, and the special stir-fried dumplings were also good. The price/performance ratio was much higher than Xiding, everyone can rush with confidence. Afterwards we took a taxi to the cross-sea bridge. There were a lot of people and you had to cross the fence to take pictures. Everyone must pay attention to safety. The view is very broad and photogenic. Walking down the sea-crossing bridge plank road, you will arrive at Silver Beach Park in about ten minutes, where many people are camping and barbecuing. After leaving Silver Beach, we walked for another ten minutes to Fujiazhuang Park. There was a green lawn when we first entered the park, which was suitable for taking pictures. We arrived at Lingjiao Bay on the last day of August. It had been closed on September 1st. The sun was setting, the water was sparkling, and the Internet celebrity’s spot was currently occupied by commercial photographers. There was no way to go up and take pictures. But if we kept going, there was another one. A similar camera position finally caught up with the pink sunset. I chose Riyue Sheng for dinner, and ordered the seafood master and the braised mixed fish, which tasted great when dipped in the seafood sauce. Finally, we went to Xinghai Square, just in time to catch the musical fountain.
DAY2 Cheers Cabin-Haizhiyun Park-Qingyun Street-Zhenghuangqi Seafood BBQ
There is no need to get up early, just cook directly and make a reservation in advance. Their food is very large and there are many recommended dishes. I ordered them all and couldn’t finish them. Most of the dishes are spicy, and the rice wine is as delicious as ever, but it’s still Yanji. The ones are more delicious. Then we went to Haizhiyun Park. It had been raining that day and there were almost no people in the park. We walked about three kilometers to the Rising Sun Square Observation Deck. Although the weather was not very good, the scenery was worth it. It was like a fairyland. Unfortunately, because The gate of the Holy Elephant was closed due to the weather. Then we went to Qingyun Street, a street full of literary and artistic atmosphere, where you can make Magic Pot coffee. Dinner is Huangqi BBQ. Come early and don’t have to queue. This restaurant must be highly recommended. Raw oysters🦪 clams, spicy fried razor clams, grilled beef tongue, grilled sea sausage, and Dalian’s local milk tea Yuanye Fengcha. Highly recommended. Went to Venice Water City in the evening.
DAY3 Eel Pavilion-Russian Love Street-Nanshan Road-Return
Let’s start with the rice. The sea urchin rice that everyone recommends is really average and tasteless. The eel rice is delicious, the eel is not fishy, and the avocado salmon is also good. After that, I went to Russian Love Street. There were not many people and there were some Russian specialty shops. Then we went to Nanshan Road, where there are some specialty cafes. We went to the popular Carrot, which has an industrial style and is suitable for taking photos and checking in. The return journey starts at three o'clock.
🍪These recommended seafood restaurants are all great, no surprises
👔There is a slight temperature difference between morning and evening in Dalian in September, especially at the seaside. It is recommended that you bring a jacket when traveling.
🚘Dalian has relatively concentrated attractions, so taking a taxi is very convenient and saves time and effort.
I thought Weihai was beautiful enough until I went to Dalian
Ever since I went to Dalian,
I have been constantly thinking about this northern coastal city.
Fisherman's Wharf, Pink Beach, Water Venice
From the seagulls flying all over the sky to the large cruise ships
And the rainbow road leading to the sea...
Every snapshot is like a scene from a movie

One-day tour in Dalian
The weather wasn't great, but it was still quite beautiful!!!
Accommodation: I recommend Xinghai Square, where there is a light show at night, one at 7:30 and another at 8:30. It's very comfortable and cool to take a walk around here in the evening.
Sightseeing:
Lingjiao Bay: Take a taxi from Xinghai Square to Lingjiao Bay. Unfortunately, the weather was really foggy, so I couldn't take any good photos. I recommend going on a sunny day.
Fujiazhuang Beach: Take a taxi from Lingjiao Bay to Xiaofujiazhuang Beach. This beach has a lot of seaweed, and you can take photos of the yellow rocks, which look great in pictures! Walk all the way to Dafujiazhuang Beach.
Silver Beach: Continue walking along the coastline to Silver Beach Park. There are also many tourists and swimmers 🏊🏻♀️🏊🏻♂️. Continue along the coastline to the Cross-sea Bridge!!!
Cross-sea Bridge: Highly recommended, it looks great in photos, even on cloudy days. Every angle is fantastic. Dalian's sea is still quite beautiful. Check-in location: Navigate or take a car to the south gate of Dalian Forest Zoo. There is a boardwalk opposite the south gate that leads up to it.
Xinghai Square: After checking in at the Cross-sea Bridge, take a taxi to Xinghai Square to feed the seagulls. There are a lot of seagulls, and each one is particularly plump. From my observation, seagulls like to eat sausages more than bread, so it's better to feed them sausages. However, the seagulls are quite big and fierce, which is a bit scary.
Dalian is a bit hot when the sun is out, but it's very cool in the shade or when the sun is not out~~~
I'll definitely come back on a sunny day next time!!!
How to play in Dalian
Dalian Check-in Shooting Locations 1-3 Chenxi Park 4-6 Lingjiao Bay 7 Cross-sea Bridge 8-9 Zhongshan Park 10-11 Donggang Seaside 12-13 Heishijiao Park 14-15 Xinghai Park 16-18 Venice Water City
Additionally: Silver Beach, Fujiazhuang Park, Xi'an Road Night Market
Russian Style Street X Dalian Itinerary Summary
Day 1: Heishijiao Park - Xinghai Park - Xi'an Road Night Market - Hotel
Day 2: Lingjiao Bay - Haizhiyun Beach - Venice Water City
Day 3: Zhongshan Park - Russian Style Street - Cross-sea Bridge - Silver Beach - Fujiazhuang Park - Bath Center
Heishijiao Park is smelly! If you mind, think twice about whether to go! The hotel is booked near Xi'an Road, went there directly after getting off the plane, and it's quite convenient to go to various attractions.
Lingjiao Bay and Haizhiyun are great for photos! Highly recommended with five stars! But the uphill and downhill road to Haizhiyun is indeed tiring, but the scenery is really beautiful, worth the effort haha. We arrived at Venice Water City in the afternoon, felt a bit early, so we went to eat nearby Xiding Sea Urchin Dumplings (opens at 4:30 pm), waited in line for a long time, two people at a round table felt a bit awkward haha, the service attitude was very good, a bit unaccustomed, but the dishes we ordered were all delicious! About 80 per person. There are many foreign girls in Venice Water City, super beautiful!
On the third day, we played a bit randomly because we had plenty of time, so we played what we missed in the first two days~
In Zhongshan Park, we checked in at the black clock! Any of them are great for photos. Also went to Post Office No. 10 to buy some souvenirs, good-looking and not expensive, if you spend a certain amount, you can get a free stamp (don't remember how much). The scenery of the cross-sea bridge is also good, but a bit dangerous, be careful when taking photos!
No need to go to Russian Style Street, really, under the big sun, there's nothing inside. Silver Beach's most popular corner is super crowded, not good for photos. Fujiazhuang also has many beautiful foreign girls~
The bath center we booked felt pretty good, the environment is very nice, took a taxi to the airport at about 4:30 am, not far from the airport Guide Check-in Holy Land
Don't squeeze into Lijiao Bay anymore, the Dalian Fisherman's Wharf is truly stunning
When it comes to Dalian Fisherman's Wharf, the first thing that comes to mind is usually the popular photo spot at Lijiao Bay. But! The scenery inside the Fisherman's Wharf is actually even more beautiful! It also has much higher walkability! ⛵ Up close, you can admire the colorful houses, the bay, fishing boats, seagulls, and castles, just like in a fairy tale town, full of the feeling of an oil painting under the sun! Then stroll through the bustling coastal market, both relaxed and full of life~
-
👉 Spend an afternoon first at 【Fisherman's Wharf】, and then go to the opposite side 【Lijiao Bay】 to take distant shots at sunset!
👉 The guide includes specific locations + transportation + routes
-
✅【Fisherman's Wharf】
📍Specific location: Fisherman's Wharf → North Gate (there's a big McDonald's)
🚇Transportation: Take Metro Line 5 to 【Hutan New District】 station, exit D, and walk just over 300 meters to get there
👉Structural overview: Onshore is a town of colorful houses, mostly B&Bs and cafes, quiet with few people and great for taking photos! From the town, you can go down to the bay, the long embankment, and the coastal market
-
✅ Colorful House Town:
✨ Enter directly from the North Gate, the brightly colored little houses are like those in Italy, and the retro steam clock in the center is like being in Bern, Switzerland, very European. And there are not many tourists or businesses, both comfortable and photogenic
✨ On the seaside, there are many balconies for sea viewing, where you can see a large castle with blue roofs and white walls in the distance, the princess is home!
-
✅ Bay:
Walk down the stairs and you're there~ The bay under the sun is really too too too beautiful! The sparkling blue sea, fishing boats of all sizes, seagulls flying by from time to time, and the colorful buildings onshore, you can take a leisurely walk around~
-
✅ Long Embankment:
At the end of the bay, you can go up to the long embankment, first you'll see the popular gift shop with the white dog house , and the silver ice cream truck next to it is also super chill~ Along the embankment, there are stalls selling seafood, barbecue, very lively with a sense of life. Because the embankment is a bit higher, it's also a great spot for taking panoramic photos
-
✅【Lijiao Bay】
After visiting the Fisherman's Wharf, you can go directly to Lijiao Bay, it's recommended to take a taxi, the distance is only 2km
📍Specific location: Lijiao Bay - Ground Parking Lot
-
🔺After arriving, continue walking along the seaside boardwalk for about 300m to reach the best shooting position
🔺Although you can see the colorful houses on the opposite hillside from here, which is quite complete, it's indeed a bit far, and I personally think that what the naked eye sees is not as beautiful as the bay at Fisherman's Wharf~
🔺But the camera still captures it very well! My lens has a 135mm focal length, if you have a 200+mm telephoto lens, it will capture even more detail
🔺Be sure to choose the time between 4-6 pm when the sunset light is there, the saturation of the houses will be higher and the colors more vivid

🚢 Gangdong Wujie Giant Wheel Check-in: A sincere suggestion, bring a lens with a focal length of more than 200mm to check in, otherwise it's a waste, be in place before 10:30, there are a lot of people, and the ship passes by in just 30s.

I love Dalian
Never left
Time passes peacefully as we head towards the sea
Before the May Day holiday, I did some research and found that the Lingjiao Bay Tiger Beach Campsite is very suitable for self-driving camping.
The scenery is beautiful, especially when taking photos across the sea, the houses on the opposite side and the Tiger Beach Park are very photogenic, giving the illusion of being in Europe (the actual photos also look very similar haha).
Luckily, the weather was great on the day of the trip, with sunshine all around, making every shot beautiful.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the classic photo spot, and the roads inside were narrow and jammed to a liver red, so after wandering around for two hours, I took a taxi and left.
Dalian Lianjiao Bay
Lianjiao Bay is located on Dalian's Binhai Middle Road, between Laohutan Park and Huxiao Square, and has recently become a popular destination for sea tours in Dalian, with the 'Laohutan' cruise terminal. The embankment built here has become a hot spot for photography. Every day, a continuous stream of visitors come here to take wedding photos, selfies, and check in. Lianjiao Bay

It's a scene only found in comics, the stunning Lianjiao Bay and Tiger Beach in Dalian
🛶The Italian colorful European-style buildings at Dalian's Tiger Beach are the most beautiful photos on the internet.
The colorful houses are lined up across the bay, against a backdrop of rolling hills.
But it really tests your professional equipment and photography skills.
Walk forward 200 meters, the stairs at Lianjiao Bay really do produce a comic-like beauty.
·
‼️Real situation report ahead, take advice!
⚠️The colorful houses at Tiger Beach, if not under a big sun or a big filter, are not visibly colorful at all.
Because you're across a very wide bay, if you want to take photos of people and houses, you can only zoom in 5-6 times on your phone, which will blur the people, so you need to enhance the clarity in post-processing.
Without professional equipment, you might not be able to capture the texture, although I used a phone, I also did a lot of post-processing.
The better shooting location I found is at the stairs heading to Lianjiao Bay.
You can take photos of people sitting with the houses across the bay as a background, and more importantly, you won't capture other people in the shot! (In reality, there are a lot of people on both sides.)
·
☁️The sky stairs at Lianjiao Bay are super beautiful, but you need to queue up.
There are two layers of stairs suitable for taking pictures, and you need to queue for both. I went on a Saturday.
I queued for 20 minutes.
Because you can only sit on that corner, you must pay attention to safety, and if you're afraid of heights, please give up.
·
🏠Location: Lianjiao Bay parking lot (where you can take all the photos in this note)
Real shots of Lianjiao Bay! Recommended to everyone who comes to Dalian
Lianjiao Bay is opposite the Fisherman's Wharf, and from Lianjiao Bay you can see the colorful European-style buildings of the Fisherman's Wharf. The houses are built layer by layer along the mountain, with colorful exteriors like a palette. Seagulls fly over the azure sea, and fishing boats returning from the sea pass by slowly. The splendid scene is captivating, making it hard to take your eyes off and resist pressing the shutter continuously.
Walking from the parking lot towards the sea, you will first pass a leisure park, and if you continue forward, there will be a small path that leads to the seaside embankment.
As you walk, you can see the lighthouse of the Fisherman's Wharf. Soon after, you will see the embankment that looks like a cake. The grey shore and the azure sea give a feeling of beauty and solitude. Along the way, you'll also encounter many people fishing, wondering about their catch of the day. At the end of the road is the glittering bay, like a mountain opening its arms to embrace the sea.
On the way back, just at sunset, the colorful houses on the opposite shore are draped in a layer of warm orange gauze. The beautiful scenery always feels healing.
📍Location: Binhai Middle Road, Zhongshan District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, navigate directly to 'Lianjiao Bay Parking Lot'
💰Admission: Free
⏰Opening Hours: All day
⏳Duration: About 1.5 hours
🌟Tips: Need a telephoto lens to clearly capture the colorful houses on the opposite side; try to choose a time when the sunlight is not so intense to go
This is not Scandinavia, it's Dalian
🌊 First stop: Dalian
2 days and 2 nights, 0 days off, expenses 1622
Highlights: Off-season travel means no crowds; no need to rush for reservations; less than 100 for a sea-view room; Northeastern bathhouse to wash away the work fatigue; no leave needed; you can see the sea, plum deer, and ride the Republic of China tram

Round trip total 700+ Daxing Airport subway ticket exchanged with airline points
🏠 Accommodation: Sea-view room near Venice Water City, less than 100 per night
✨ Saturday
Sleep in, leave at 11.20 ➡️ Eat at Tiger Beach, recommend sea intestine rice and triple seafood stew
The Fisherman's Wharf is just downstairs, not big, good for a walk after a meal
13.50 Take a taxi to Lianjiao Bay
From here, the view of the Fisherman's Wharf across is just like a Scandinavian substitute! Sitting on the Lianjiao taking photos feels like the end of the world, full of cinematic vibes 📷
Tired of walking, you can sit in a seaside cafe, sipping a hot latte☕️ while watching the sea🌊 Very chill
15.40 Go to Fujiazhuang Park, walk all the way to Silver Beach and the Cross-sea Bridge, the sunset🌄 is beautiful
18.00 Go to eat at Shanmu Japanese Cuisine, this meal costs 300+ per person, in Beijing it would be at least 500+🥺 The best dish is the Hokkaido seafood rice bowl 🍣
20.00 Go to Venice Water City, it's deserted at night in winter, no people, no water, don't come
22.00 Find a bathhouse to soak♨️+ scrub, wash away all the work fatigue!
✨ Sunday
Sleep in, leave at 11.20 ➡️ Eat seafood nearby
Find the nearest station and take tram 201! (Be sure to wait for the old-fashioned one) A second back to the Republic of China
Get off at Minsheng Street Station, start the Zhongshan Square city walk. There are many fearless fat pigeons, pigeon feed is 3 yuan a pack.
Envious of the pigeons😭 walking freely on the grass
15.00 Go to Xinghuo Nursing Home, there are wild plum deer in the back mountain, and NPC Grandpa Deer selling sweet potatoes, 10 yuan a bag
But the little deer were full in the morning and didn't come out, everyone should go early
Only saw one bad-tempered stag
16.40 Go to ✈️
✨ Other: The reason why it's off-season is because of the strong sea breeze and cold weather, but I'm not afraid of the cold, friends who are should dress warmly. Check the weather in advance, it's beautiful on sunny days. Taxis are cheap, the above itinerary is basically by taxi, averaging 100 per person.
I thought Weihai was already beautiful, until I went to Dalian
Since my trip to Dalian last summer
I've been unable to stop thinking about this city
This time I plan to come back in winter to see
Fisherman's Wharf, the Cross-sea Bridge, and the Sea Rhythm Park
It turns out that Dalian is also so beautiful in winter
It truly fulfills all my fantasies about romance

2 Xinghai Cross-sea Bridge
Navigate to the south gate of the Forest Zoo, the scenery is unbeatable on a clear day, standing on the rocks gazing at the bridge winding into the distance, mysterious and romantic
3 Sea Rhythm Park
Navigate to Xuri Square, where you can check in at attractions like the Holy Elephant Gate, Morning Beach, and Huangbai Spit one by one, the jelly sea here is super beautiful Lijiabao Bay
Dalian Lijiabao Bay: A must-visit spot with few people and beautiful scenery, definitely worth a visit!
Dalian Lijiabao Bay is located at the southernmost tip of Dalian, a poetic seaside natural ecological area on the Yellow Sea, named after the land connected to the sea resembling a water chestnut. The ecological environment and natural scenery are quite impressive. Because this spot is not very well-known to many people and the transportation is not very convenient, it can be considered a niche attraction. Perhaps due to the fewer tourists, the ecology here can be considered one of the best in Dalian. At Dalian Lijiabao Bay, you can gaze at the stunning and European-American style Fisherman's Wharf, making one mistakenly think they are in a European or American seaside art village.
Tiger Beach is the southernmost seaside park in Dalian, featuring a characteristic scenic area built with European-style architecture, with Lijiabao Bay to the south. In Lijiabao Bay, you can see scenery reminiscent of seaside towns in Europe and America, which is quite interesting.
Compared to other scenic areas in Dalian, Lijiabao Bay is not in a particularly good location and public transportation is not very convenient. You either have to take a taxi or walk a few kilometers after taking the subway to get there, so most people give up on this spot. In fact, there are many points of interest, and the view is also very impressive.
1. Highlights of the scenic area:
The towering peaks on land plunge deep into the Yellow Sea like giant water chestnuts, which is quite spectacular! At the foot of the mountains, you can enjoy a variety of pristine island scenery. Lijiabao Bay is a pure natural landscape, not managed as a fee-charging scenic area. Besides the inconvenient transportation, there are no other faults to be found. The original ecological fishing village scenery contrasts with the European-American style Fisherman's Wharf in the background, creating a striking beauty.
You can also fish with the local elders and experience the joy of fishing in the open sea.
2. Best travel season:
When visiting Dalian Lijiabao Bay, be sure to choose good weather. Generally speaking, autumn is the best season to visit, with the sea breeze being neither cold nor hot and the weather clear, making the entire bay as beautiful as a painting. Do you like such island scenery?
The early autumn is the best time to visit Dalian Lijiabao Bay, when clothing is more casual. Enjoying the beautiful scenery by the Yellow Sea and the warm breeze is a truly wonderful feeling.
3. Special precautions:
Although Dalian Lijiabao Bay is very beautiful, safety must be a priority. After all, it is not a fee-charging scenic area and lacks the safety measures and emergency services that such areas typically have. When playing in the scenic area, be sure to watch out for the hidden reefs under the water to avoid slipping.
At low tide, you can go from one side of the mountain to the other, but it becomes difficult to do so at high tide. However, the scenery of Lijiabao Bay at both high and low tides is distinctive and worth appreciating.
Since Lijiabao Bay is on the open sea, the tide rises and falls very rapidly. You may be able to cross over the rocks 3 minutes before, but 3 minutes later, you could be submerged by the tide and unable to proceed. At this time, you must not stay on the hidden reefs in the deep sea, as you could be swallowed by the sudden and rapid tide, which is very dangerous. Please remember this!
4. Suggested time for visiting:
Dalian Lijiabao Bay and Fisherman's Wharf both belong to Tiger Beach, so you can visit these two scenic areas together. The scale of the scenic area is quite large, suitable for slow-paced travel and photography. It is recommended to reserve at least 3 hours for sightseeing and photography.
The sea area where Lijiabao Bay is located is very nice, and you can take a boat to the deep sea for a tour, which is quite a good experience. If you are someone who likes photography or portrait photography, Lijiabao Bay is a great location for taking pictures.
5. Transportation:
Compared to Fisherman's Wharf, public transportation to Lijiabao Bay is slightly less convenient. You need to take the subway or bus to Tiger Beach Park, and then walk about 2 kilometers to reach the destination. It is suggested that it might be more convenient and faster to take a taxi nearby, and of course, driving yourself is definitely better. Lijiabao Bay Park also has a paid parking lot.
