Travel to Macao for a Museum | Blue Ribbon Maritime Silk Road Exhibition.
Hey guys, Macao has a new place to check in! 🎉
Travel to Macao for a museum, the Blue Ribbon Maritime Silk Road Exhibition has opened at the Macao Poly MGM Museum on November 2.
💥The first exhibition is themed "Maritime Silk Road", curated by a team of experts in collaboration with nearly 20 state-owned museums and international cultural and art institutions, with a total of 228 cultural relics and artworks, spanning from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, from underwater cultural relics to silk fabrics, spices and other rare treasures.
😍As soon as you enter the exhibition hall, you will be attracted by the symmetrical beauty of the Chinese "central axis construction", and the space design integrates the Chinese intangible cultural heritage "cloisonné" and "dougong", while the lotus elements and the pattern of the cultural design inspiration of the 12 countries of the Silk Road are even more beautiful.
👀The exhibition is divided into four thematic spaces: "Monsoon", "Context", "Interweaving" and "Connection". "Monsoon" tells the story of human use and awe of the ocean. "Context" shows the face of the Maritime Silk Road through underwater archaeology. "Interweaving" presents the achievements of economic and cultural exchanges between the East and the West. "Connection" explores marine conservation and new era exploration. It shows the past and present of the Maritime Silk Road and reflects the exchange and integration of civilizations.
👏The most eye-catching part of this exhibition is the bronze statues of the animal heads of the Old Summer Palace - the ox head, the tiger head, the monkey head, and the pig head, which are genuine originals. Each of them is a priceless treasure, carrying a heavy history, and these bronze statues of animal heads not only witness the superb craftsmanship of ancient China, but also make people proud of the treasures of Chinese culture.
🤩 The museum also adopts an innovative exhibition and performance method, combining AI art installations, VR + AR and other technologies, to present the exchange and collision of Eastern and Western civilizations in a three-dimensional way, allowing us to travel through thousands of years, as if we were personally experiencing the grand style of the Maritime Silk Road!
