On my city walk around Dishui Lake, I came across this beautiful lakeside bookstore, Duoyun Bookstore. You can read a book 📖 and look at the lake 🌊. You can spend the whole day here with a cup of coffee. It's a great place to relax.
🔸The bookstore has a whole row of tall floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a panoramic view of Dishui Lake. The three floors are filled with books 📚, from classical literature to modern art, from scientific exploration to human history. There is something for everyone 📖.
The three-story 📘 bookshelves are designed like stairs, and the skylight gives a modern feel. It's a great place to take photos 📷. If you come in the evening, you can also see the beautiful sunset 🌅.
🔸There are many seating areas in the bookstore, and there are power outlets 🔌, which is very thoughtful. It's a great place to read and study all day. When you're tired, you can look at the lake 🌊.

The morning atmosphere at The Bund Shanghai offers a unique beauty. I recommend taking photos both in the morning and at night, as both times provide stunning results. You can also see the Oriental Pearl Tower.
In the morning, there aren't many people around. Don't forget to take a picture with the bull statue, an important landmark.
I visited in early December 2024. It was very cold, around 11 degrees Celsius. Make sure to bring warm clothing.

Visited this Michelin awarded restaurant specialising in their soup dumplings stuffed with crab roe and we had an enjoyable dinner here! The restaurant is located in the bustling area of Yu Yuan bazaar and it’s easily reachable and accessible! Consisting of three levels, the restaurant can accommodate large groups of visiting patrons. The food was served pretty quickly overall, didn’t have to wait long. The soup dumplings stuffed with crab roe was huge, filled with generous portions of crab roe, juicy and plump, love it! Straw was also provided to soak the soup up! Besides their popular soup dumplings, tofu with crab roe and fluffy bun with grilled pork was also pretty good! Overall, I love it, and would recommend for sure!

10. It is recommended to bring a thermos of hot water to the top of the mountain each time. Drinking hot water at the top of the mountain will make you very happy.

My recent trip to Shanghai was an unforgettable experience, blending the old with the new in a city that is constantly evolving. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the city's dynamic skyline, dominated by modern skyscrapers like the iconic Shanghai Tower, yet alongside them stand historical buildings in the Bund, showcasing Shanghai's rich colonial past.
One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the famed Nanjing Road, where I indulged in shopping and enjoyed the vibrant energy of the bustling city. The street was lined with high-end boutiques, department stores, and lively street vendors. I also spent time in the peaceful Yu Garden, a tranquil escape in the heart of the city with its traditional Chinese architecture, ponds, and beautiful landscaping.
A boat ride along the Huangpu River gave me a unique perspective of Shanghai's stunning skyline. The contrast between the ultra-modern financial district of Lujiazui and the historical Bund was truly awe-inspiring. I also visited the Shanghai Museum, where I was impressed by the vast collection of Chinese art and historical artifacts.
For a taste of Shanghai's culinary scene, I tried the famous xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) at a local restaurant, which was an absolute must! The food was incredible, and I also explored various street markets to sample authentic local snacks.
