Sharing 10 of my personal favorite, lesser-known spots for strolling and breathing in fresh air~ 100% greenery 🍃 and few tourists Friends visiting Hangzhou must check these out 🌿 1️⃣ Taiziwan Park 📍 Navigation: Taiziwan Park West Gate Enter from the west gate, follow the main road to the yellow church, and take photos from the opposite side—it looks just like a movie scene! 2️⃣ Wansong Academy 📍 Navigation: White Snake Flying Over A winding S-shaped boardwalk hidden in the forest, perfect for stunning photos! 3️⃣ Liulang Wenying Park 📍 Navigation: Xin Henghe Bridge Very close to my school, there's a bridge hole inside that looks like something out of 'The Wizard of Oz,' perfect for photos! 4️⃣ Jingci Temple 📍 Just navigate directly After entering, go up to the highest point; it's the best spot to view Leifeng Pagoda! The vegetarian restaurant at the entrance is also unique, don't miss it. 5️⃣ Wuguitan 📍 Navigation: Zixuan Hotel From the bridge, you can photograph the rowing boats on West Lake, giving a feeling of walking in a primeval forest. At the entrance, you can see the white Qihong Bridge. It is a stunning lake that located at the city centre surrounded by many temples, pagodas, gardens and bridges where you can spend a least half of your day here chilling and take beautiful photos. The most impressive thing, it is a heritage cultural site rating as China AAAAA tourist spot but open for free to the public which make it even more tourists to visit to. Best time to visit: All season (If you are coming during winter season, make sure you keep yourself warm enough as it will be very windy by the lake) Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

📍The most beautiful corner of Gushan Road The sunrise here in the morning makes the lake look particularly beautiful, with layers of orange shimmering on the water. Because of the morning fog, you can take these ink painting-like pictures of Leifeng Pagoda as you walk along the West Lake. 📍Suilu After shooting Quyuan Fenghe, you can go to the intersection of Beishan Street and Yanggong Causeway on the opposite side. There is a staircase that can go up the mountain to Suilu to shoot the Leifeng Pagoda at a long distance. You need a telephoto lens to shoot here. I used 70-200 to crop the picture when I came back. The camera I used was Sony r4a with over 60 million pixels, which is very useful after retouching. 📍Sudi Stele I took these pictures around 7 o'clock in the morning. There were no cars and people. These two pictures are the road in front and the road behind. I just snapped them together. 📍Quyuan Fenghe Find the round door hole 'Liaoting', a classic shooting spot. I didn't have the chance to experience the beautiful scenery of Hangzhou during the Asian Games, but I found stunning gradient colors in Hangzhou at the end of November. I've been to Hangzhou many times, and in the past, it was more about nostalgia, missing everything about my school days. Every time I went there, I would stroll along the route I used to take, reminiscing about the 151 tram on Yan'an Road. With two braids trailing behind me, occasionally a braid would come loose, the driver would get off the bus, pull the wire a few times, align it with the track, and then continue driving. This time, I was more in search of beautiful scenery. Hangzhou at the end of November was like a knocked-over palette. Cycling on the road from Lingyin to Beishan Street, the sunlight filtered through the dense leaves, and the golden plane tree leaves slowly fell with the wind. All worries can be put aside for the moment, and there is an irresistible urge to shout out loud. It's really too comfortable. From Jiuxi Yanshu to Lingyin Yongfu Zen Temple, then to Xiling Bridge and Bai Causeway, along Nanshan Road from Taiziwan to Huagang Guanyu, the golden or earthy yellow leaves are interspersed with red Japanese maples, reflected on the water surface, it's hard not to feel that the people of Hangzhou are fortunate.

3+ trips in and Hangzhou is still an easy go-to trip for when I want to get away from sprawling Chinese cities but still get that urban convenience. Head to West Lake and you can spend all day exploring. Whether it’s going on an urban hike around the outside or grabbing a bike and exploring some of the countless temples, pagodas, museums, and cafes that sit on it’s banks.
