Proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Port of Duqm Company SAOC, as part of our continuous efforts to advance Oman’s energy supply chain, support local industries, and contribute to the national economic diversification targets under Oman Vision 2040. This MoU focuses on developing an energy supply and logistics hub in Duqm to enhance supply chain efficiency and support the growth of Oman’s energy sector. Eng. Azhar Al-Kindi, Chief Operating Officer at Energy Development Oman, took part in a panel at the 5th Petroleum Media Forum of the GCC. The discussion, titled "Oil and Gas: The Reality and Future of Energy Globally," explored the vital role of oil and gas in today’s global energy landscape. Eng. Al-Kindi, alongside other experts, delved into the significance of oil and gas in promoting sustainable development and aiding the global shift towards cleaner energy. The forum also highlighted the essential role of media in the GCC, focusing on the need to keep journalists well-informed, address misinformation, and create a platform for dialogue between media professionals and industry experts. شارك المهندس أزهر الكندي رئيس العمليات في شركة تنمية طاقة عُمان، في حلقة نقاشية في الملتقى الإعلامي البترولي الخامس لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي. وتناولت المناقشة، التي أقيمت تحت عنوان "النفط والغاز: واقع الطاقة ومستقبلها على المستوى العالمي"، الدور الحيوي للنفط والغاز في مشهد الطاقة العالمي اليوم. وتطرق الكندي، إلى جانب نخبة من الخبراء والمختصين الآخرين، إلى أهمية النفط والغاز في تعزيز التنمية المستدامة ومساهمته في التحول العالمي نحو الطاقة النظيفة. كما سلط الملتقى الضوء على الدور المحوري الذي تلعبه وسائل الإعلام في دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، مع التركيز على ضرورة إبقاء الصحفيين على اطلاع دائم بالمستجدات، ومعالجة المعلومات المغلوطة، وإنشاء منصة للحوار تجمع بين الإعلاميين وخبراء القطاع.

We are proud of our subsidiary, @Hydrom, and the milestones they have achieved today at #OSW with signings of key agreements led by HE. Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi. The first agreement was signed with a consortium consisting of EDF Renewables Middle East, #J-Power and Yamna for the development of a large-scale green ammonia project that will aim to produce 1 mtpa of green ammonia by 2030, using 4.3 GW of wind and solar energy and 178,000 tonnes of green hydrogen production. The second agreement was signed with Actis and Fortescue and involves the construction of up to 4.5GW of wind and solar renewable energy resources that will power electrolyzers with the potential to produce up to 200,000 tonnes of green hydrogen per year. Both agreements underscore our dedicated efforts to support the Sultanate of Oman’s energy security and sustainability goals, contributing significantly to the nation’s economic diversification and environmental stewardship. انجاز جديد يضاف لقائمة انجازات شركة هايدروم مع توقيع معالي المهندس سالم بن ناصر العوفي على اتفاقيات تطوير مشاريع وحق الانتفاع بالأرض على هامش مشاركتها في أسبوع عُمان للاستدامة.  تم توقيع الاتفاقية الأولى مع تحالف يتألف من إي دي اف للطاقة المتجددة (مجموعة EDF)، وشركة الطاقة الكهربائية اليابانية (جي باور)، وشركة يامنة ليميتد (يامنة) لتطوير مشروع ضخم لإنتاج الأمونيا الخضراء بسعة إنتاجية قدرها مليون طن سنوياً من الأمونيا الخضراء بحلول عام 2030 باستخدام 4.3 جيجاوات من طاقة الرياح والطاقة الشمسية وإنتاج 178,000 طن من الهيدروجين الأخضر. أما الاتفاقية الثانية فكانت مع شركتي أكتس وفورتسكيو، وذلك لإنشاء حوالي 4.5 جيجاوات من موارد طاقة الرياح والطاقة الشمسية المتجددة لتشغيل محللات كهربائية وإنتاج ما يصل إلى 200,000 طن من الهيدروجين الأخضر سنوياً. وتأتي هذه الاتفاقيات لتؤكد جهود الفريق الجبارة لتحقيق أهداف البلاد وضمان أمن الطاقة واستدامتها، وهو ما سيعزز من رحلة التنويع الاقتصادي في سلطنة عُمان.
