As of 1 February 2025, imports from the European Union (EU) including EFTA countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland), into the UK of Animal-by-products (ABP) samples for research and diagnostic purposes will require a general import authorization to accompany the consignment.
