#DKTPhilippinesFoundation is honored to have been part of the ‘I-toDOH na! Talk, Empower and Deliver (TED) Initiatives’ by the Department of Health (DOH) spearheaded by Secretary Ted Herbosa, in partnership with the Cabuyao City Health Office in Laguna. This event brought together various health services to improve community well-being, and we were proud to highlight #reproductivehealth and #familyplanning as part of the program. DKT Philippines Foundation provided free family planning counseling and access to a wide range of contraceptive options, including #condoms, #pills, and #injectables. Our #SODEX Mobile Clinic was also on-site to offer free Bilateral Tubal Ligation (#BTL) procedures, giving mothers the choice of a permanent family planning solution. Altogether, we served and empowered 105 individuals to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.

We’re excited to announce our partnership with SwipeRx to launch the DKT Pharmacy Learning Hub in 2025! SwipeRx is an all-in-one app that hosts the largest digital network of pharmacy professionals in Southeast Asia, connecting them with reliable drug and health information and offering free Continuing Professional Development (CPD) modules. DKT, through this initiative, aims to equip #pharmacists with essential knowledge on #reproductivehealth products. By offering training on family planning, reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS prevention, along with CPD-accredited webinars, we’re empowering pharmacy professionals to make more informed recommendations and support their continued growth. Through this #partnership, we’re enhancing patient care and sparking positive change across the Philippines. We look forward to seeing the impact of this collaboration in the pharmaceutical sector!

As part of #WorldVasectomyDay events, DKT Philippines Foundation provided free vasectomy to 11 men on November 18 at Mary Johnston Hospital in Manila. Three of the recipients - Reginald, Leandro, and Jarold, shared their thoughts on their commitment to securing a brighter future for their families. Central to DKT Philippines Foundation's initiative is the My Vas Friend volunteer and support network, which fosters a community of men who have had #vasectomy and now advocate for more men to consider vasectomy as a responsible family planning option. Through efforts like these, #DKT aims to make #reproductivehealth services accessible to men, and empower them with informed choices for their families’ future.

#DKTPhilippines had the privilege of participating at the 2024 Annual Convention and 78th Anniversary Celebration of Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society Foundation, held on November 12-15, 2024, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC). This milestone event brought together over 6,000 OB-GYNs from across the country to celebrate Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology. It was a great opportunity for us to engage with healthcare professionals through interactive activities, including a fun claw machine game highlighting DKT's OTC brands. We also demonstrated the ease and safety of MVA for managing miscarriages and performing endometrial biopsies. Doctors who visited our booth enjoyed refreshing drinks and received useful giveaways, making the experience both informative and enjoyable. We were also thrilled to host a special lecture on Postpartum Contraception attended by almost 200 OB-GYNs, reinforcing our commitment to advancing reproductive health in the country.
