On March 5, 2025, the DCCP conducted its Annual General Meeting and Elections at the Netherlands Residence. The meeting reflected on a successful and productive 2024 and discussed the plans for 2025. With a presentation from our Board of Trustees, members gained valuable insights into our annual plan and long-term strategy.📊 Special appreciation to H.E. Ambassador Marielle Geraedts and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Manila for hosting AGM 2025 at the Netherlands Residence. Thank you to all members who participated, whether in person or through proxy, for the contributions in making this event a success and for the continued support of the Chamber. As we welcome new faces to the Board, we bid farewell to departing trustees Joost Mes from Marlow Navigation, Michiel Smits from Royal Haskoning, and Andrew Yan from Signify. The DSPC team actively participated in the Joint Maritime Committee (JMC) Meeting on February 27, which explored emerging technological trends and advancements in maritime training. The discussion was led by Ms. Katherine "Karen" Avelino, President of the Philippine Association of Maritime Training Centers, Inc. (PAMTCI), and C/E ALFREDO HABOC, Senior Advisor and Consultant at the Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training (PHILCAMSAT). The event was facilitated by Mr. Tore Henriksen, President and Managing Director of DSPC and Chairman of the JMC. The JMC serves as a collaborative platform that brings together key maritime industry stakeholders, including members of the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (GPCCI / AHK Philippinen), the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, the Nordic Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, the Philippines Norway Business Council (PNBC), the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines, and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines.
