⚡Throwback to a week ago in Manila, as Start2 Group presented Start2 Connect – Rooftop Tech & Tagay!🍻 Kicking off with networking and pica pica (finger food) on the rooftop of The Astbury, the event was attended by over 80 guests, consisting of an energetic blend of founders, potential collaborators, and industry professionals. On 12 October 2024, two AIM-DBI startups, namely PasaJob and SeeYouDoc, were selected as part of the top ten regional finalists for the 2024 Wildfire Pitch Competition. The regional winner will represent the country to pitch during the Startup World Cup main conference in Silicon Valley, with an opportunity to secure an investment of US$1 million. PasaJob was declared one of the three startup winners chosen to participate in the A-STREAM global conference happening in Jeju, South Korea, on 22–24 October 2024. The event aims to enhance the startup ecosystem through networking among domestic and international startups. Both alumni of the AIM-DBI THINCOHORT Program, SeeYouDoc is a comprehensive marketplace, booking, and telehealth platform that enables doctors to conduct online consultations with patients using electronic records, prescriptions, and an e-wallet system, while PasaJob is a long-chain job referral platform connecting job seekers to opportunities and employers to top talent through credible referrals. This innovative approach simplifies the hiring process for businesses and provides individuals with an opportunity to earn extra income by leveraging their networks.   Meet Melissa Balmaceda, the Chief Marketing Officer of PasaJob. Melissa has a degree in Communication from the Ateneo De Manila University and an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management. She also has a teaching certificate.
