Holiday Ao Nang Beach Resort Krabi Review

We stayed at the Holiday Ao Nang Beach Resort Krabi, which is built on a hill, so the layout of the hotel is undulating. The rooms are not particularly large, but they are clean and tidy and have a small balcony. The bedding is very clean, and the bathroom has a partition. The room is well equipped and provides toothbrushes and toiletries. The hotel has two swimming pools, one large and one small, and there are enough loungers, some of which are shaded. If you swim in the pool at noon, it will be very sunny, as there is no shade and the pool is completely open-air. The hotel has a daily fitness class schedule, and guests need to pay to participate. The price is reasonable, a few hundred baht per class, which is acceptable! The hotel breakfast is quite rich, with several kinds of yogurt and several kinds of fruit. If you go after 9 am, there are too many people and you need to find a seat. There are indoor and outdoor seats for breakfast, and it is not too hot these days, so you can choose to sit outside. The hotel is also in a good location, about a 10-minute walk from Ao Nang Beach in Krabi. It is not the closest hotel to the beach, but there are shops, small supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, and snack streets (just opposite the hotel) nearby. It is very lively and convenient to travel. But remember not to choose a room facing the road, because we booked late and only got a room facing the road. It was too noisy at night, with the bar singers on the street finishing at 11 pm, and the sound of cars and motorcycles on the road at night was very clear, which would have a great impact on people with poor sleep. But in the end, we found that this hotel is the most beautiful hotel on this street, and the location is also the best. It is especially interesting to sit in the hotel bar in the evening, have a drink, and watch the different people on the street. I think Ao Nang Beach in Krabi is not as beautiful as the beaches on Phi Phi Island, and the waves are relatively large. There is a commercial street next to the beach, with bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is nice to stroll along the beach, but there are many tourists (mostly white and Indian people). What surprised me was that at this time of year (Christmas in December), it was very comfortable to go out in the morning and evening, and it was not particularly humid and sultry. We didn't need to turn on the air conditioning at night. We hardly used the air conditioning in our rooms on Phi Phi Island and Krabi. The climate is really suitable. However, at this time of year, hotel prices are two to three times more expensive than usual. I saw that it is also expensive to come here during the Chinese New Year holiday. The best time is in April, before the rainy season in Thailand, when hotel prices are much cheaper. Of course, it is even cheaper to come here in May (May to October is the rainy season in Thailand).
