Quanzhou is a city you won't want to leave once you arrive. Quanzhou is a city you'll want to visit again and again. Quanzhou has so many fun attractions to visit. Quanzhou has so many delicious foods, but my stomach is too small. Photo spots: Quanzhou Poster Wall: Located next to the West Street Cinema, this wall features the word "Quanzhou" made up of 22 world heritage sites and elements such as the kapok flower. It's a must-see. Kaiyuan Temple: The "Forbidden City-style red wall" on the other side of the Mahavira Hall looks great in photos, and you can also take photos of the East and West Pagodas. East and West Pagodas: The East and West Pagodas are iconic buildings in Quanzhou, and you can take photos with them from various locations in the city, such as the rooftop terrace of the West Street Tourist Service Center, the rooftop terrace of Li Coffee, the rooftop terrace of Mei Chaofeng Milk Tea Shop, the rooftop terrace of Si Yu Guan Dessert Shop, the rooftop terrace of Li Xingzhe's Home Inn, the rooftop terrace of 7FUN, the rooftop terrace of Wu Wen Dong Xi B&B, and more. These rooftop terraces are great places to view the East and West Pagodas, and any photo you take will be sure to get lots of likes on social media. Xiangfeng Lane: Xiangfeng Lane starts at the Ziyunping of Kaiyuan Temple on West Street, crosses Xinhua Road, and ends at Jiadi Lane. Take a photo with the East Pagoda under the blooming bougainvillea, and you'll be amazed. Accommodation: There are many B&Bs on West Street. This time, I chose a Qing Dynasty courtyard inn near the Bell Tower called Shangqing Tower. It's very unique, and the entire building is preserved from the Qing Dynasty. When you open the glass door of the B&B, it's like stepping back in time. The antique door is painted with red lacquer and has traces of time, as if telling stories of the past. The deep courtyard is paved with bricks and stones, creating a great atmosphere. The room is very cozy, with two floors. Brew a pot of tea, and the aroma will fill the air, making all your travel fatigue disappear. The owner knows all about the streets and alleys of Quanzhou and its historical sites and stories, and will thoughtfully recommend travel routes for you. Quanzhou Food: Quanzhou has many snacks, and I only wish my stomach was bigger. Many sticky rice snacks have long lines, but they all taste good. Taro cakes, meat swallows, noodle paste, mochi with various fillings, and Hao Chengcai Steakhouse are all worth trying.
