Prof. Dr. Usman Ghani (Director IMSciences) and Mr. Asad Ashfaq (Head of the Career Development Center, IMSciences), along with six students from the Kurram and Orakzai districts, participated in the Grand Youth Dialogue organized by UNDP and SRSP, funded by the Government of Japan, at the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad.

The Financial Literacy seminar, organized by the State Bank of Pakistan in collaboration with CDC IMSciences at the Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar, aimed to raise awareness about financial literacy, particularly among women. The first speaker, Imran Khan, highlighted the State Bank’s efforts to financially educate women and create opportunities for their empowerment. The second speaker, Arbab Sarfaraz Khan, representing Habib Bank Limited, provided insights into the bank’s financial products and promoted HBL Nisa, a product tailored for women. The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing the audience to gain further clarity on financial topics.

IMSciences CSR students visited NWGH Northwest General Hospital for an inspiring trip focused on CSR in action! The highlight was a seminar on the impactful work of Depilex’s Smile Again Foundation, which supports acid burn victims through medical care, rehabilitation, and skill development for financial independence. Our students gained valuable insights into how businesses can create meaningful social change. Special thanks to Dr. Almas Fasih Khattak for hosting us and to Madam Musarat Misbah for this life-changing experience. A team from the University of Bolton – Islamabad Campus (Pakistan’s first HEC-approved UK university) recently visited IMSciences. BS Accounting and Finance final-year students have been selected for the Students Ambassador Program at the State Bank of Pakistan in collaboration with CDC IMSciences.
