The NUST Law Moot Society was established in 2020 and has made a name for itself within and outside the university premises as a vibrant and dynamic community that brings together passionate law students to hone their advocacy skills. It is a platform that identifies and trains promising students for intellectual growth and practical learning. It also offers students the opportunity to delve into complex legal issues, craft compelling arguments, and present their cases before esteemed judges by participating in national and international mooting competitions. Through intensive preparation, participation in mock trials, and exposure to diverse legal scenarios, the NUST Law Moot Society helps students to develop critical thinking, research, and public speaking abilities that are essential for success in the legal field. Another year, another victory– Nust Law School stands tall as the defending champions! We are elated to announce that Nust Law School(NLS) proudly emerges as the defending champion of the prestigious GIKI Moot Cup (GMC) with stellar performances across the board! Our stellar winning Team 2418, comprising of Ms. Shifa Ali Murtaza, Mr. Behram Khan, and Mr. Ch. Abdullah bin Ijaz, coached by Ms. Emaan Fatima, emerged as the ultimate winners of the competition. Our victors bring home once again the trophy of the prestigious 16th Henry Dunant Moot Court Competition. Leaving no stone unturned, the Best Preliminary Questions Award was bagged by our brilliant team consisting of Minahil Azam, Safian Khan, and Abdullah Iltaf Cheema. With his meticulous eye for details, Abdullah Iltaf Cheema was awarded as the best researcher throughout the competition. Under the brilliant coaching of Haziq Ali, the Nust law department has once again qualified for the international rounds being held in Hong Kong.
