First the mass, then the sculpture!   Mass has always been the most important thing to us, like a child to its parents. Now our quest for precision in knowing mass has been rewarded with the sculpting of a baby scale.   On 8 January, the unveiling of the C315.D Baby Scale took place by the Dr Tytus Chałubiński Specialist Hospital in Radom [Radomski Szpital Specjalistyczny im. dr. Tytusa Chałubińskiego]. The RADWAG scale was listed as “Symbols of Radom” under the “More Beautiful Downtown – Symbols of Our City in the Form of Small Architecture” project carried out as part of the Radom Civic Budget.   The history of RADWAG is intertwined with the history of Radom, as the first part of the company’s name already indicates. We have been manufacturing electronic balances and scales, including medical baby scales, for over 40 years. We have been with you since day one, and in your family for generations. The C315.D Baby Scale may have been the first device you used, as it is found in most maternity hospitals. More than 30,000 babies have been weighed on RADWAG baby scales in Radom hospital over the past 20 years. In 2024, the lightest of them weighed 720 g and the heaviest weighed 4,900 g.   We are very pleased that our role in the city’s history has been recognised. 64,980 km in one year! That’s how much we covered to represent the RADWAG brand at industry events around the world. Let us remind you where we were in 2024. ✈️ In March, we went to the “FORUM LABO” in Lyon, in April to the “analytica” trade fair in Munich, to “The 2nd Gulf Metrology Forum. Metrology for Sustainability” in Dubai and the “CAFMET” conference in Marrakech. May saw the first round of the “XXIX POLLAB Club Symposium” in Kołobrzeg. June was packed: the “LABOREXPO” and “PROCESEXPO” in Prague, “Achema” in Frankfurt am Main, “PCI Days” in Warsaw and the “CTSI Conference” in Leeds. In August, we visited Hamburg to attend the “IMEKO 2024” XXIV World Congress. September was full of events organised in Poland, such as “PT Chem” and “KTCh” in Poznań and the second round of the “XXIX POLLAB Club Symposium” in Krynica Zdrój. The month closed with the most powerful and prestigious annual laboratory and analytical trade fair “ARABLAB” in Dubai. In October, we checked in with Berlin for the “QI-Digital Forum”, before returning to the country to represent the company at the “Radom EXPO” in Radom and the “XIII Scientific Conference AIR CONDITIONING IN THEORY AND PRACTICE” in Zakopane. Then we went out into the world again – to Lyon for the “Mesures Solutions Expo”. RADWAG Invests in the Future of Metrology: a State-of-the-Art Metrology, Testing and Certification Centre! RADWAG, a leader in weighing technology, is proud to announce the construction of a new Metrology, Testing and Certification Centre together with an adjacent CNC machining centre. Both facilities are scheduled to open in the second half of 2025. The investment is a strategic step in the company’s development that will strengthen its position as a leader in metrology innovation. The state-of-the-art centre will provide a venue for intensive research into the development of weighing technologies, including mass comparators, as well as the provision of top-level measurement services. Scope of the Centre’s activities: ✔ Research activities Development of innovative technologies for mass comparators. ✔ Measurement activities Provision of measurement services in an accredited mass laboratory, calibration of balances and measurement of length, humidity, volume and temperature. ✔ Training activities Organisation of specialised training courses for customers and business partners. ✔ International cooperation Supporting the development of global metrology by organising meetings and workshops for representatives of measurement authorities from around the world. To ensure the highest measurement standards, the Centre will be located at a specially selected site, away from sources of vibration and interference. This decision was preceded by a detailed geological survey to guarantee the stability and precision of the measurements. A state-of-the-art CNC machining centre equipped with the latest numerically controlled machines will be built in the immediate vicinity of the Centre. This will allow even more precise machining of weighing components and the introduction of innovative design solutions. We are also in non-obvious places. 🤭 We are excited to participate in creating engaging and educational experiences for the youngest. That is why, RADWAG has donated the C315.30.F1.K Load Cell Platform Scale for the “Minicity Project”, whose beneficiaries are children in Ljubljana. The project has been introduced by LOTRIČ Metrology Ltd., our distributor in Slovenia. 🇸🇮 In Ljubljana there is a special playroom called the “Minicity”. It consists of different rooms where children can learn by playing. One of the rooms, Land of Measurements, has been dedicated to metrology. Children will find a RADWAG scale to measure the strength of their impact there. A strong enough punch will enable them to meet the “Challenge of Strength”. To meet it, it is necessary to press the button next to the scale as hard as possible. One of many functions of the 5Y series balances is DENSITY, which allows you to determine the density of solids and liquids. To determine the density of solids or liquids using the 5Y balance, all you need is a Density Determination Kit. On 6-7 December, our partner in China represented us at a “CPQC 2024” pharma forum in Guangzhou. The conference was attended by more than 500 local pharmaceutical companies and authorities.   Our Chinese partner, Guangzhou Yushangcheng, demonstrated RADWAG products so that customers can comply with the provisions of the new edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia planned for 2025. Some of them invite our Chinese partner to seminars at their companies to share their experience with them.
