We have recently celebrated a very special anniversary. A little over 20 years ago, Science magazine published a curious paper entitled: "Electric Field Effect in Atomically Thin Carbon Films", authored, among others, by Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov. The two scientists went on to win a #Nobel Prize just 6 years later, awarded for "groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene". Back then, the term #graphene, which is now ubitoqous, was not known and the whole world of opportunities offered by the completely new class of two-dimensional materials was just opening up. As the scientific world celebrates the beginning of graphene's third decade, we are working hard to turn its promise into reality. You can find that very first paper here: https://lnkd.in/dyFy-Y9B
