In a step aimed at promoting innovation in distributive technology, including artificial intelligence and data analysis in Palestine, Insights for Research, Surveys, and Training and the Palestinian Technology Park (Techno Park) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the implementation of Techno Park’s plans to establish innovation labs. These labs will provide an advanced environment to support students and graduates, empowering them to develop innovative digital solutions. The lab aims to enhance students’ practical experience by training them in the latest technologies. It will also support both the public and private sectors in Palestine by providing data-driven solutions to improve the efficiency and quality of services and products. Dr. Faisal Awartani, CEO of Insights, commented: “We are excited about this collaboration with Techno Park, as we believe the AI and data lab will be a turning point in enabling students and researchers to apply their knowledge to solve real-world challenges across various sectors in Palestine.” Meanwhile, Mr. Ala Aladdin, Vice Chairman of the Technology Park, stated: “This collaboration is a significant step toward connecting academia with the job market and fostering a culture of innovation through technology and big data, opening new opportunities for students and graduates.” The cooperation plans will include organizing workshops and training courses on new technologies, including AI and data analysis, as well as conducting joint research projects between students, faculty members, and data experts. This initiative will strengthen the collaboration between academia and the business sector in Palestine. This partnership serves as a unique model for collaboration between academic and research institutions to enhance the capabilities of Palestinian youth in AI and data fields, contributing to the development of a knowledge-based economy driven by advanced technology.
