New Talent at BEAT Therapeutics ✨
We are excited to announce three new students joining us, bringing a wealth of talent to our team!
Inês Mota has been awarded an FCT scholarship to join us at BEAT Therapeutics. She is pursuing her doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto (FFUP). Her research interests are focused on Molecular Biology, Oncobiology, and Cancer Pharmacology. With a BSc in Biology and an MSc in Cell and Molecular Biology, she gained valuable experience through internships at i3S and the IPO Porto Research Center (CI-IPOP). Combining her passion for research with a desire to improve people's lives, she is highly motivated to push the boundaries of knowledge in cancer research, seeking innovative solutions to combat this disease.
Maria Miguel Pinto Lima is a second-year Oncology Master's student at Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (ICBAS) of the University of Porto, with a particular interest in cancer biology and pharmacology. Maria holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Liverpool, UK, and has gained valuable skills through both her academic studies and an internship at i3S. Maria is highly curious and dedicated, with a strong ambition to drive cancer research forward, applying her skills and passion to make impactful contributions to the field.
Luis Garcez is a Master's student in Biotechnology with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Minho. His strong passion for exploring scientific principles and understanding complex biological systems drives his academic curiosity and motivation. Through his work at BEAT Therapeutics, Luís is eager to apply his knowledge and skills to contribute to advancing cancer research.
