🌐 What if technology was built WITH communities, not ON them? In Episode 10 of the ReFi Podcast, Tereza Bízková and Maya Dentzel sit down with Constanza Gomez Mont, founder of C Minds & NaturaTech LAC, to explore how #AI and #blockchain can regenerate ecosystems and empower communities in Latin America. Constanza challenges extractive, efficiency-driven tech models and offers a bold vision for tools rooted in cultural relevance, equity, and long-term impact. 💡 Key insights from the conversation: 1) AI as a tool for regeneration AI can do more than increase efficiency—it can track jaguar populations, monitor biodiversity, and reconnect communities with the land, shifting technology toward regenerative use cases. 2) Cultural relevance in tech In Latin America, where traditions are deeply tied to the land, tech must respect local contexts instead of imposing one-size-fits-all solutions. 3) Blockchain for biodiversity Constanza highlights how blockchain enables transparency in land stewardship and ensures fair compensation for conservation efforts, transforming conservation practices across Latin America. 4) Barriers to progress Short-term thinking and techno-solutionism often block regenerative innovation.
