HyLab - CoLAB closed January on a high note! 🔝 We gathered our Scientific Council in Sines to start the preparation of the strategic agenda for the coming years. During this meeting, we had the opportunity to review and showcase the work HyLab - CoLAB accomplished throughout 2024 and present our plans for 2025. We also had the privilege of hearing valuable feedback from our Council members on our progress so far, as well as their insights on the key areas HyLab - CoLAB should focus on in the near future. A huge thank you to all the members of the Scientific Council for their valuable contributions during the session: Fátima Montemor, Inês Cardoso Pereira, Artur Costa, Sofia G. Simões, Adélio Mendes, João Abel Peças Lopes, Isabel Azevedo, Joao Piteira, and our Scientific Coordinator, Edgar C. Fernandes, for his ongoing guidelines. As part of the event, Ricardo Rato delivered a compelling pitch showcasing HyLab’s vision, expertise, and commitment to advancing clean hydrogen solutions, as well as calling for partners to a project within the new 2025 Calls. This was a fantastic opportunity to share our innovative ideas and engage with stakeholders passionate about driving the hydrogen revolution forward. This event has been an incredible platform to: ✅ Explore the latest funding opportunities under Horizon Europe. ✅ Build meaningful connections with industry leaders and innovators. ✅ Collaborate on projects that accelerate the transition to a sustainable, hydrogen-based economy. HyLab - CoLAB at the STEP OPEN DAYS event in Évora. HyLab - CoLAB had the honor to participate in the STEP OPEN DAYS event at the invitation of Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento Regional do Alentejo, I.P.. HyLab - CoLAB’s Executive Director, Ricardo Rato, joined an engaging panel discussion on “Clean and Efficient Technologies for a Sustainable Future,” moderated by Paulo Partidário from DGEG - Direção-Geral de Energia e Geologia. During the session, we shared HyLab’s insights and explored the exciting opportunities brought by the STEP initiative, particularly in the context of the Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA). Organized by AD&C and CCDR, the STEP OPEN DAYS highlight the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP), an EU initiative aimed at supporting industries and driving investment in critical technologies across Europe. HyLab - CoLAB status in 3 minutes! 🤩

🌟 This week, HyLab - CoLAB had the privilege of hosting Massimo Santarelli from Politecnico di Torino at our facilities. We began with a tour of the IN+ - Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research combustion laboratories, followed by a visit to HyLab - CoLAB's facilities in Sines. During this visit, we showcased our expertise, ongoing projects, and explored opportunities for collaboration. Massimo Santarelli is a renowned expert in hydrogen production technologies, particularly in high-temperature electrolysers such as solid oxide and proton-conducting ceramics. This visit also allowed us to strengthen ties with Politecnico di Torino. This visit not only strengthened our relationship with one of our esteemed associates but also provided valuable insights and feedback on the ongoing projects we are working on. We extend our gratitude to Professor Adélio for his time and to the HyLab team for their contributions and shared perspectives.

2024 was an Incredible Year for HyLab - CoLAB !!! 🤩 Here are some of our key achievements this year: 1️⃣ Team Expansion – We’re now a team of 23! 2️⃣ Setting Up Laboratories and Acquiring Equipment – A major step forward in our operations. 3️⃣ Execution of Previously Secured Projects – Delivering on our commitments with excellence. 4️⃣ Securing 2 New Projects – One at National leves and one European, marking another milestone for us. 5️⃣ First Industrial Project – A pivotal moment for HyLab’s journey. 6️⃣ Participation at European Hydrogen Week 2024 – Representing HyLab and our associates with a dedicated stand. None of this would have been possible without: ⭐ An outstanding team ⭐ A committed leadership ⭐ The support of our Board of Directors ⭐ The precision of our Audit Committee ⭐ The valuable input from our General Assembly ⭐ And, of course, our incredible project partners! Yesterday, HyLab - CoLAB had the pleasure and honor of hosting ANI | Agência Nacional de Inovação at our facilities in Sines! It was incredibly rewarding to showcase HyLab - CoLAB’s achievements over the past year and to engage with the concerns and priorities of the managing entity for our base funding - ANI | Agência Nacional de Inovação . From the projects currently under development, to the equipment and laboratories we are setting-up, and the general facilities and teams driving our progress, it was a day of meaningful sharing and collaboration. A special thank you to João Ribau, Sofia Couto, and Ana Garcia Niza for their openness and for making the trip to Sines. Gratitude also to Ricardo Rato, Edgar C. EDP and HyLab - CoLAB come together to discuss ongoing projects and future opportunities! ⚡️🔋 Yesterday, it was EDP’s turn, one of HyLab - CoLAB's founding members, to visit our facilities for a comprehensive update on ongoing projects, a tour of our new installations, and a strategic discussion about the future. Represented by two business units specializing in hydrogen (H2BU and EDP NEW), the visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange insights on current initiatives, explore strategies, and identify joint opportunities we can tackle in the near future. It is always a pleasure to host our shareholders! 😁
