🔥 Do you work with passion?
🖤 Passion is sadly not something we mostly associate with work. It seems that in this world passion is reserved for anything BUT work.
People hate their jobs & literally try to just survive the working hours. And then we wonder why there is so much anxiety, depression & burn out in this world.
Did you ever wonder if work could be different?
✨ That work could give you joy, satisfaction, growth, responsibility, a sense of belonging aligned with your self-interest while the company grows prosperously?
This is everything that Corporate Rebels Global Meet Up was all about. ❤️
Yes, work with passion is not only possible. It is real. And many people & companies live it today!
A few takeaways from my side:
🔺Lisa Gill shared her experiences when self-management goes into different traps, such as Pendulum of Doom, Canyon of Consensus or the Green Trap (cool names aren't they)?
🔺Dunia Reverter & INDAERO team members showcased their mind blowing transformation journey, the struggles, the ups & downs, and the wins. They are on this journey for quite a while & results are astonishing - from the numbers side & the peoples growth!
🔺Luís Alberto Simões from Mindera shared his personal ‘rollercoaster’ of self-management, with raw honesty about doubts and challenges. Scaling a company from 20 people to 1200 in just a few years brings some challenges. But making it fun & growing in a self-managed way - unbelievable!
🔺 And then I met my personal idol Doug Kirkpatrick. He is talking with such depth & simplicity that everything seems so common. He shared his three key for passion at work from Morning Star & the two values where everything started over 30 years ago. The values are: Don't force people into anything & Keep your commitment. What a world we would live in if we would just stick to those two guidelines.
