These were the top 7. 👇 ⚡United States, Gardena-based Harbinger, closed a $100M Series B round from Capricorn Investment Group, Leitmotif, Tiger Global Management, and others to scale up production capacity to meet demand for its purpose-built electric platform. 🛢️United States, New York-based Amogy, secured $56M in a Series C round from Aramco Ventures, SV Investment, BHP ventures, and others to scale and commercialize Ammonia-as-a-renewable fuel solution. 💨United Kingdom, London-based Protium, raised $38.2M in a Series B round from Barclays, SWEN Capital Partners, ITOCHU Corporation, and Toho Gas Co. to develop green hydrogen infrastructure to deliver dedicated zero-emission energy services to its customers. 🥛Germany, Berlin-based Formo, secured $36M debt financing from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to scale up manufacturing of dairy alternative proteins. 🌳United Kingdom, Guildford-based NatureMetrics, raised a $25M Series B round from Just Climate, EDF Pulse Ventures, ReOcean Fund, and others to develop nature intelligence and biodiversity monitoring. 🌞India, Pune-based Ecozen, secured $23M in debt financing from responsAbility Investments AG, Maanaveeya Development & Finance Private Limited, Northern Arc Capital, and others to provide solar solutions for the agricultural sector. ✈️Switzerland, Zurich-based Metafuels, raised $9M in an early VC round from Celsius Industries, RockCreek, Fortescue ventures, and Verve Ventures amongst others to scale up the production of sustainable aviation fuel. Equity funding dropped by 14% in 2024, but 80% of investors expect more money to flow into Climate Tech in the coming years. 💬 This is according to our State of Climate Tech industry survey, which shows that investors remain optimistic about the long-term potential of the industry. 🌱 Pre-seed, seed, and early-stage investors showed greater optimism compared to growth and later-stage investors. Long development timelines delaying return on investment were seen as the biggest challenges in capital development, followed by technological risks.
