🤝💡 DIGI2 Collaborates for Innovation at HR Group Factory in Mangualde 💡🤝 Last week, members of the DIGI2 Lab (SYSTEC, Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto) participated in an exciting brainstorming session at the HR Group Portugal factory in Mangualde, focused on exploring innovative solutions to optimize factory operations. As part of the session, our team presented the EIT Manufacturing project, Self-Made highlighting its potential as a key solution to enhance efficiency and sustainability in the manufacturing process. The brainstorming session brought together a diverse group of companies, industries, and projects, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas. 🗣️ Today we disclose one of the speakers of the webinar on 14th May! Rui Pinto was born in Santa Maria de Lamas, Portugal. In 2013, he received a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from FEUP (Telecommunications, Electronics and Computers specialization), and in 2022 a PhD in Informatics Engineering from the same school. He is currently an Integrated Member of the Research Center for Systems & Technologies (SYSTEC), integrated with the Advanced Production and Intelligent Systems (ARISE) associated lab, and also an Invited Assistant Professor at FEUP. As an Assistant Professor, he taught several course units in topics such as Project Management, Cyber-Physical Systems and Internet of Things, Intelligent Data Analysis, Industrial Systems in the Digital Age, Programming Laboratories, and Information Systems.
