  • Are today’s leaders truly prepared to balance empathy with strategy in a rapidly evolving world? 2025 calls for visionary leadership: inclusive, empathetic, and strategically balanced. #leadership #emotionalintelligence #BigIdeas2025 We talk far more than we act. It’s time to start doing so that talking becomes unnecessary. In my view, there’s still too much talk about leadership and leadership development, with little real change. When we begin to act more, we’ll need to talk less.

  • Coaching first appeared in connection with sports in 1974 with Timothy Gallwey’s book “The Inner Game of Tennis,” which showed how the mind can influence performance. Inspired by Gallwey, Sir John Whitmore ICF Coach, brought these principles into the business world, developing the GROW method, which became fundamental in executive coaching. In the 1990s, coaching gained traction in companies, and in 1995, Thomas Leonard founded the International Coaching Federation (ICF), establishing standards and certifications for professional practice. The ICF was created as a non-profit organization to support coaches in the growth of the profession and helped transform coaching into a global and recognized practice, now used for years to develop leaders, teams worldwide, change management, emotional intelligence, innovation, talent development, communication, organizational culture, employee well-being, conflict resolution, productivity, engagement, strategic planning, sustainability, medical and caregiver coaching. The @icfheadquarters (ICF) has over 143 chapters across more than 80 countries and territories worldwide. These chapters serve as local hubs for professional coaches, providing opportunities for networking, professional development, and collaboration within the global coaching community. • How to Determine if People are Happy in Your Company? Employee happiness is the fertile soil that nourishes the roots, ensuring the organization has the resources needed to weather strong winds and tough times. If the soil is poor, the company might survive, but it won't thrive. Thus, measuring and understanding the level of employee happiness becomes as crucial as monitoring finances or sales performance. 🚀 This is where the EQ-i 2.0 comes in, acting like a detailed soil analysis, evaluating its composition and identifying what is needed to enrich it. The EQ-i 2.0 measures emotional intelligence, providing a clear foundation on how employees manage emotions, relate to each other, and handle stress. These insights are essential for cultivating a work environment where happiness can flourish. 🌟 By understanding emotional intelligence through the EQ-i 2.0, companies can implement specific strategies to improve well-being, much like a gardener adjusts soil nutrition to ensure a tree grows healthier and more vibrant. Ultimately, a happy and emotionally intelligent work environment is the key to a resilient, productive, and innovative company, where every branch and leaf contributes to a vibrant and sustainable corporate ecosystem. Each person has unique needs to feel happy, reflecting their experiences, values, and individual personalities. While some may find joy in professional challenges and recognition, others may value a healthy work-life balance or a collaborative and supportive work environment. Recognizing and respecting these differences is essential to fostering a positive workplace. This involves actively listening 👂to employees, understanding their motivations, and adapting management approaches to meet these diverse needs. Promoting workplace happiness is not a one-size-fits-all formula; it is a continuous effort of empathy and flexibility. 🤝 By respecting and valuing individual needs, companies not only increase employee satisfaction and productivity but also create a culture of inclusion and mutual respect. This commitment to the emotional well-being and happiness of each team member is the foundation for a truly harmonious and successful workplace.
