What a Way to End the Year! 🌟 Attending the China Trademark Festival in the breathtaking city of Xi’an 🇨🇳 was truly an eye-opening experience for me as a first-time attendee. With Xi’an’s rich history, unique charm, and intricate architectural designs, the city left me in awe. Given the strong ties we have with our Chinese associates and clients, this event was the perfect opportunity to connect, strengthen relationships, and meet old friends from previous conferences. Coupled with my earlier experience at AIPPI in Hangzhou, this trip further inspired me to learn basic Chinese conversational phrases, allowing me to appreciate the culture. The warm hospitality of the Chinese people made the interactions even more memorable🙌🏻 The conference itself was an excellent platform for knowledge sharing and networking, reinforcing JAH & CO. IP presence on a global scale. Wherever you are in the world, JAH & CO. IP is here to assist. Looking forward to many more opportunities and meaningful connections in the future. ✨From Seoul 🇰🇷to Hangzhou🇨🇳: A Memorable IP Journey ✨ October was an incredible month filled with travel and opportunities for growth! Attending the KINPA Conference in Seoul and the AIPPI World Congress in Hangzhou. Each event provided unique insights into the field of intellectual property, and it was an incredible opportunity to connect with global and local experts. In Seoul🇰🇷, we had the pleasure of networking with local Korean clients, delving into meaningful discussions about IP matters. These interactions made me realize the importance of expanding my language skills. Watching Korean dramas will now be more than entertainment – it’s also part of my effort to improve my Korean and connect more effectively with partners!🎎 감사합니다 In Hangzhou🇨🇳, the experience was equally remarkable. We participated in networking events like the Young AIPPI🕺🏻, Women in IP 💃🏻and many more where we had the chance to build meaningful relationships with various IP practitioners from different walks of life. We’re also thrilled to bring back some 熊猫 (panda 🐼) souvenirs to share with our colleagues back home! It’s a small way to share a piece of our China experience and spread the joy of connecting with our global network. These conferences are more than just knowledge sharing platforms, they enable us to build sustainable business relationships. JAH & CO. Back at another international conference, this time in beautiful Sweden 🇸🇪 for #MARQUES2024! Excited to engage with delegates from all over the world 🌍 The conference theme, “The Many Traits of the Trademark Expert," has truly broadened my understanding of trademark protection, with a particular focus on real-world legal cases shared by inspiring speakers who are industry leaders in the IP space. The table topics have been especially enriching, offering diverse perspectives on IP across different jurisdictions. Thank you to the organizers and sponsors for a wonderful conference! As a first-time attendee for MARQUES, it’s been a remarkable experience learning from others as well as meeting with delegates from different parts of the world such as North Macedonia 🇲🇰 and St. Lucia 🇱🇨 (to name a few) was a unique opportunity that I’m incredibly thankful for—this event has truly brought together professionals from every corner of the globe, united by a shared passion for intellectual property. Beyond the professional networking, my time in Sweden has also been a personal highlight, as an avid fan of ABBA 🎶! It was pure joy to bond with fellow ABBA enthusiasts while singing along to Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo and many more of their timeless hits. Not to mention trying delicious Swedish cuisine like the red herring, kanelbullar (cinnamon buns), oumph (a plant-based delight made from soy), and many other unique tastes of Sweden 🇸🇪🍴. Looking ahead, delegates of JAH & CO. IP including myself—will be attending the upcoming AIPPI World Congress in the scenic city of Hangzhou 🇨🇳.
