More capacity, more convenience!   Qatar Airways Cargo is boosting its services to London and Berlin with additional frequencies announced on our passenger bellies: 7 extra flights per week to London and 4 extra flights per week to Berlin. This means a total weekly capacity of over 1,100 Ton on London Heathrow, and 230 ton on Berlin each way. In collaboration with PharmacomItalia, we hosted a successful Pharma Logistics Workshop & Working Tour in Milan on Thursday, 14 November. The event gathered over 100 key stakeholders from the airfreight supply chain, including pharma shippers, freight forwarders, airport authorities, pharma container suppliers, ground handling agents, and the airline. Through the workshop and tour, the participants had the unique opportunity to delve into the complexities of airport operations and witness how products are meticulously handled both on the ground and in the air. They also experienced a full freighter turnaround operation and engaged in discussions about the #challenges and #opportunities ahead, focusing on #sustainability and #security within the supply chain. We extend our gratitude to PharmacomItalia’s Secretariat, SEA Milan Airports, and BCUBE air cargo for their exceptional organisation and partnership, making this event a resounding success. Qatar Airways Cargo Boeing 777 freighters now operate twice weekly from Doha to Kuala Lumpur, adding 200 tonnes of capacity. MASkargo’s Airbus A330 freighters enhance connectivity to Sydney and Melbourne with 75 tonnes of weekly capacity.
