Here’s how EV charging stations are inspected! DEKRA Romania and Eldrive Romania conducted a pilot project to check the performance of a charging station after two years of use. A DEKRA technician used a specialized test box to simulate an EV, diagnosing the charger, cables, and payment system in under a minute. Visual checks were also performed for issues the test box can’t detect. Adrian-Cristian Cioaric, Power Systems Engineer, Eldrive Romania, was present to facilitate the process.
