The seventh annual conference of Serbian Energy Law Association (UPES) entitled "Decarbonization of the energy sector" was held on 5 December at the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, with the aim of discussing key legal issues that bring energy sector reforms. The conference consisted of two sessions, both focused on reforms in the energy sector: 1. Decarbonization, investments in the energy sector and security of supply, 2. International agreements and their compliance in the light of electricity trade. Milica Pesteric Pešterić moderated the second session, and the panelists were Graham Coop, partner from Pinsent Masons law firm, Davor Pupovac, director of the Market Analysis and Risk Management Department at Elektroprivreda Serbia, Popovski Ljubin, director of "ČEZ-Serbia" and Mira Todorovic Symeonides, partner at The Rokas Law Firm from Athens. It was a pleasure to be part of this event and we look forward to the next conference! 🙂
