A stimulating 2nd day at #websummit full of insight on the New Energy Summit stage, from regenerative business models with Eric Ezechieli to climate resilience or making sustainable construction competitive with Bernd Oswald at GROPYUS. I heard dozens of impact startups pitch, from Akara Robotics' healthcare automation to greener air conditioning with TerraBreeze by Social Cooling and AI for endangered languages by NightOwlGPT. I also got to test smart auto-focusing eyewear with Fuller Vision. The final product is a lot more stylish than the DIY steampunk model that Reed Foster put together for me but the experience is impressive. We had a great run at this year's Splet Tech Conference, where we unveiled our latest version of Autofocals and demoed it to 70 people over the course of 6 hours. This is a significant milestone for our market. A Serbian angel group has supported 10 Serbian startups during the most crucial phase of their development while we together work on further developing this emerging market to its full potential.
