🇨🇳 LEVEL Legal Services Strengthens Business Ties in the East Denis Almakaev, FCIArb , Partner and Head of the International Dispute Resolution Practice, and Ellina Izotkina, FCIArb, Senior Associate in International Dispute Resolution and Sanctions Regulation at LEVEL Legal Services, recently made a business trip to Shenzhen. The goal was to expand partnerships with Chinese law firms and legal institutions. During the visit, the team met with representatives from the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), where they held discussions and exchanged expertise on dispute resolution matters — especially dispute resolution statistics involving Russian businesses and potential future cooperation. Denis Almakaev, FCIArb and Ellina Izotkina, FCIArb attended the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) conference, which provided LEVEL Legal Services opportunities to strengthen relationships with regional partners and identify promising areas for joint projects. ___________ 🔹 Denis Almakaev is licensed to practice before the Singapore International Commercial Court as a Registered Foreign Lawyer, with the right to represent clients in trial and appellate cases. Currently, Denis is the only Russia-based lawyer with this qualification. 🔹 Ellina Izotkina holds an LL.M. in International Arbitration from the University of Hong Kong. She is a member of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) and serves on the HK45 Committee under the @Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).

🇭🇰 Hong Kong Arbitration Week (HKAW) is one of the largest annual events in the field of arbitration, bringing together dispute resolution experts from around the world, organized by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC). For the first time, LEVEL Legal Services became the first Russian law firm to host its own session during the opening day of the prestigious Hong Kong Arbitration Week. On October 21st, LEVEL Legal Services organized a panel discussion titled "Resolving Eurasian & Middle Eastern Disputes in a Sanctions-Torn World: Parallel Proceedings, Anti-Suit Injunctions, and Competing Paradigms." The first part of the discussion was moderated by Denis Almakaev, FCIArb, Partner, and Head of International Disputes at LEVEL Legal Services.
